I grabbed my phone and ran downstairs. "Bye guys!" I called out. They all said goodbye and Keegan followed me outside, "Bye." He said, "Oh and... Behave." He added with a wink. I laughed, understanding what he meant and waved him off.

"Hello Mrs Levi, hey Leah." I said when I got in the car.

"OMG! You look so cute!" Said Leah.

"Thanks, you too." I smiled. She was sporting a pair of jeans, sneakers and a purple jersey. Honestly I was expecting her to dress more revealing. She rolled her eyes, obviously disagreeing with me. Then she pointed to small bag next to her and mouthed, 'It's in my bag.'

I mouthed back 'Ohh okay.' She had packed her real clothes in her bag because her parents are stricked and would never allow her to wear what she usually wears. The venue wasn't very far; it is going to be on a huge farm about 30 minutes away. For the whole trip there we sang along to Troye Sivan. We couldn't stop laughing at one another's lame attempts to sing. It was only when I could see flashing lights and thousands of teenagers in the distance that all my happiness seemed to disappear and turn to anxiety. Leah nudged my shoulder and said, "Just relax Kylie, I swear you will thank me for this later." I nodded and when the car came to a stop we both got out of the car. "Bye girls!" Leah's mom called after us and we waved her goodbye. The sun has nearly set and the music was blaring. Leah took my wrist, "Come with me to the bathroom, I have to change." She laughed and I followed her. The bathrooms were close by and easy to find. I waited outside for Leah to finish. She didn't take long because soon enough the door opened. My eyes widened at the sight of her. This outfit seems way more like her. She was wearing a black skirt that barley went over her ass and a crop top that showed off her belly ring. "What do you think?" she asked, twirling and flashing her black lace underwear. My jaw dropped, was she being serious? I know she usually wears very revealing clothes but this was just plain slutty. "Uhh, it's nice." I said, smiling awkwardly. LIAR! I mentally yelled.

We walked off near where the stage for the DJ was. Leah was already dancing while I awkwardly swayed from side to side. Leah rolled her eyes at me and pulled me to dance with her. After a while I was more relaxed and actually started having fun. After about an hour of dancing Leah and I went to fetch some drinks. My phone beeped and I looked at it. It was Ryan:

R: Hey, where are you?

I looked around, He will never be able to find me here.

K: Leah and I are getting some drinks x

We both bought a bottle of water. "So what do you think?" She asked, gesturing towards all the sweaty teenagers. "You were right, this is pretty awesome." I confessed. I couldn't see Ryan and after about twenty minutes I gave up and went back to dancing with Leah. By ten o'clock Leah and I were tired and went towards the back of the farm where it was darker and less crowded.

"Check there." Leah said, pointing to a group of kids smoking what smelt like weed. I shook my head in disapproval. Leah laughed at me, "It's called living Kylie!" I rolled my eyes but she didn't see.

"Kylie? Kylie!" I heard someone shout. I squinted in the darkness to see who was calling me. "Oh, hey Ryan! I said over the loud music. "You look beautiful tonight." He said taking a step closer to me. "Thanks." I shyly said. I looked over at Leah, her eyes were moving between Ryan and me. "I'm going to go...get some more water." She said with a smirk on her face and left. I took in a deep breath and looked at Ryan, staring into his beautiful eyes. We're alone, I kept reminding myself. I can't believe it. I quickly glanced around to see where she really was, and of course she was dancing with an older boy.

"Kylie, I have liked you for quite a while now and, uh, I was wondering if maybe- Kylie?" He said, waving his hands in front of my face to get my attention. "Oh! I'm so sorry Ryan, what were you saying?" I said trying to concentrate on him. Ryan began to talk again but still, my eyes were drawn to a tall figure standing far enough to not be able to make out all of his features but close enough for me to know he is staring at me. He just stood there, his curly hair moving slowly in the wind. Then He jerked his head, motioning for me to come up to him. Don't, pretend you didn't see, I told myself and turned my attention back on Ryan. He was staring at me as though looking for an answer to a question I didn't listen to, which was true. "Erm..." Was all I managed to say. "I think that, uh, I think that-"

"Ignoring me now, aren't we?" said a deep, British voice. I turned to look at him, sure enough it was the tall figure standing right in front of me. He was definitely older than eighteen, with dark and messy curls, emerald green eyes and a very tired looking face. "Care to dance?" He said, and without warning he took my wrist and pulled me away. Leaving Ryan and his unanswered question alone and as confused as ever.
