Apple's P.O.V.When I woke up, I was hextremely stiff and uncomfortable; not a first for me but certainly rare. I sat up to see Raven sitting on her bed with her earbuds in, nodding her head to the beat as she scrolled through her mirror-phone. I silently walked up to her and shouted "Boo" but she didn't flinch. So, I grabbed a pillow from the foot of her bed and smacked her with it. "Hey!" she shouted. "What was that for?" "C'mon. You promised you'd take me to... where are we going?" I know I was being a bit rude but I was really nervous and very... I don't know what I was feeling but I was just so nervous it felt like was going crazy. "We're going to find Giles Grimm." Raven grumbled. Giles? "So where is he? It's not like we know where he lives." "Though Giles likes the outside world just fine, he prefers to sleep down in the basement." "Sleep? But it's day time." "Really?" Raven asked, gesturing to the window. Night time. I was really losing my attentiveness. "Yeah. So let's go." Raven was already out the door.
After about twenty minutes of wandering about the school, we finally reached the underground room where Giles lived. "Hello? Giles?" Raven called out. "Ms.Queen. Ms. White. What a pleasant surprise." Giles popped out from behind your corner. "I'm assuming by the hour that this isn't merely a social visit. So tell me ladies, what seems to be troubling you?" "Apple do you want to ask him or should I?" Raven asked me gently. "It's fine, I'll ask. Mr. Grimm? When I signed the Storybook of Legends, it said that Daring would break my curse. How is it possible that the book was wrong?" Okay, so maybe this wasn't my original question but this one deserves to be answered all the same. "My dear, that was a destiny that was written for you. There are many theory's as to how the future is written out for us but mine is that the book is just a few pieces of paper bound together with a bit of magic thrown in. Fate had planned for Ms. Raven to shelf the book and let you students write your own stories. So the book had you written as Daring Charming's princess because that was what you thought would happen though it wasn't meant to be." Oh, that made sense. Sort of.
"Giles, one more question. When I was poisoned with the sleeping curse, I had stopped breathing and was given CPR. Is it possible that that's what woke me up and not true love's kiss?" At this he chuckled though I didn't see what was so funny. "My dear, what happened during the duration of your slumber is and was irrelevant. Though it is fortunate that Ms. Darling Charming was able to act as quickly as she did because it is quite possible you could have died while under the spell, only true love's kiss would have been able to wake you up. If anyone else had attempted to help you, you might have started breathing again but you most certainly wouldn't have woken up." So Darling Charming is my true love. Woah. This was unexpected, though I don't know why. I came here expecting someone to tell me that this was all a big misunderstanding. Not that my entire life as I knew it was changed forever. But I had to be strong. "Thank you Giles." I said, plastering on a fake smile for the second time that day. I seemed to be doing that more and more as of late. "C'mon Raven. It's late we should be getting back to our dorm." I could hear her her protest but I had already dashed out the door.
