Darling's P.O.V."What?" Apple croaked.
"I mean, I don't love magic when it comes to affairs of the heart but I think this is an emergency." Raven said, suddenly smiling. What did this girl have planned?
"What are you gonna do?" I asked cautiously.
"I'm gonna brew up the second most cliché potion ever created." she said vaguely, walking over to her side of the room. "I'm not the best when it comes to stuff like this; it was more my mom's thing. But I think this one should turn out fine." Raven pulled open a drawer and rummaged through it for a bit before just giving up. "I'll be back in a few minutes," she said, turning and heading for the door.
"Raven, what kind of potion are you making?" Apple asked curiously.
Turning to us, she smirked. "A love potion." And with that, she poofed out of the room in a cloud of violet smoke.
"WHAT?" Apple and I shrieked. What was Raven thinking? How could she think a love potion would help us at all? No Darling, you have to remain calm. After a few seconds, I regained my composure and that was when I realised that Apple was shaking. Like violently shaking and hyperventilating. Oh no.
"Hey, Apple. Apple, look at me." I grabbed her by the shoulders and looked her in the eyes. "Hey, just try to take deep breaths. In and out. Just like that. Good. Nice and deep. Now, do you feel better?" She nodded slowly. I decided to try something. "You want to go get dressed?" She nodded again. Turning, she tried to pull herself out of the bed but stumbled and would have fallen if I hadn't caught her. "Do you need some help?" I smiled. Again, she nodded, weakly smiling back.
An hour and forty-five minutes later, we were done. I had made Apple shower before anything else which was quite the task considering how tired and dizzy she was so we just opted for a bath instead. While Apple was soaking I changed her bedsheets and ran down to the castleteria to get her some food. Then she ate and passed out before she could even put any clothes on so she slept in her towel. After her power nap, she put on the clothes I laid out for her and let me pull her hair back into a bun. We did everything in silence but instead of being awkward it was kind of nice. When Raven finally came back with a pitcher filled to the brim with a bubbling pink liquid and two glasses on a tray, we had switched positions and I was on the floor as Apple sat on her bed and ran her fingers through my hair.
"You two seem content. You ready to drink the potion?" Raven asked.
"Raven," Apple spoke softly, "how is this going to work. What exactly is that potion going to do?"
"Well, to put things simply, you two will be in love until noon tomorrow. By then, if you feel like there was a huge change and you would never act like that, then we know you guys aren't in love. But, if you feel the same as before, it's safe to assume that you're in love now. It sounds weirder than it actually is." What?
"How is that helping us?" I asked, completely confused.
"Who cares? I'll do anything at this point!" Apple cried. Okay, I wanted help too but how was this a solution?
"Umm, Apple? Can I talk to you for a spell?" I said, pulling her arm.
