The light was hitting his face which made him look down at his lap since, he was in a dark room before, the other reason he was looking at his lap, was because he didn't have the courage to face Aguri.
Maybe it was for the things he had done, or the fact that he turned out to be gay, that was something, Aguri didn't knew. But yet she was smiling at him. She was sitting on a chair in front of the couch which Nagisa was sitting on.
That smile only showed, relieved and peace, which made Nagisa felt better but he felt he didn't deserve it.
"Aguri I—"
"I already know." She snapped, still smiling at the kid in front of her.
Nagisa lowered his head. "You do?" Aguri nodded.
"Did you already listened to him?" Nagisa faced her with a big frown on his face. "Don't frown like that, you will get wrinkles like me."
"Sorry, I'm just still—"
"Mad at him?" She raised her eyebrow, Nagisa shook his head.
"I'm still sad and hurt, because of what he did..."
She extended her hand out and put it on Nagisa's hand, she look up at him with a big and warm smile. "Have you think about forgiveness?"
He shook his head. "I'm not ready for that, I won't, he hurt me."
"But you love him." That sentence made Nagisa lowered his head and nodded. "If you love him, what is stopping you from forgiving him?"
He looked away. "I don't know.."
"You said he hurt you, but in fact You are hurting yourself, you can give him a second chance, the past it's the past." She said.
"He is also a liar." Nagisa protested. "He promised he would do something for the kids at the orphanage, just if I went with him to and event, I did and he never done anything for them."
"Maybe he forgot."
"No, he didn't." He said. "How can he forget something like that?"
"You forgot too." When she said that, Nagisa lowered his head some part of him knew that Aguri was right, he just didn't wanted to give in so easily. "Nagisa don't close your heart, when you fall you have to decide whether you are going to get up and continue or spend your whole life lamenting."
"Maybe you are right." He muttered.
Aguri chuckled. "Now why don't you go and fix some things with Karma."
"No way." He snapped. " he has to come to me first."
"If you say so," Aguri giggled. "So that means you will get up?" She asked, and Nagisa nodded. They spent a couple of minutes talking, then Nagisa remembered about Isogay, whoops, I meant, Isogai. So Aguri and Nagisa went back to his room where they met Isogai and had a long chat.
🍂
Everything was okay, except for the fact that Nagisa and Karma had a big issue they needed to fix. Nagisa finally decided to go to school with Isogai, which it cheered up the mood of everyone in the whole house, but mostly Karma's. Talking about the devil, it was as if they switched rolls, Karma had depression and refused to go out, and Nagisa was already attending to school.
He was wearing a black bathrobe, and his hair was messy it looked like if a bird made its nest on Karma's head. Karma was currently laying on the sofa the room was all dark, the only thing that lit it was the TV, he was watching Sonic Ninja and if there was romantic scene he would cry, but luckily he had a big ass box ok Kleenex next to him.
He was frowning cause the main character was really bad at acting, he would have done it better, he thought. Finally he decided to get a water from his mini fridge, but there was none. He groaned, he was really thirsty so he had to got to the kitchen and so he did.
The kitchen, for his bad luck, wasn't alone, there was a woman with brown short hair and golden eyes like Isogai's, it looked like if she was his mother, but he knew Nakamura was the only thing in Isogai's life.
She looked at him with a smile, he didn't returned the smile, he just walked directly to the fridge.
"You are Karma, right?" The good looking woman asked. "Nice to meet you, I'm Aguri."she extended her hand out and waited, Karma shook as fast as possible as he nodded. "I've heard so much about you."
"I'm famous." He said coldly. "Of course you had heard about me."
"But someone in particular talked me about you." She said as she handed Karma a cookie which he gratefully took. "A short boy, with long blue hair tied up in pigtails, do you know him?" She chuckled.
Karma's expression was dull yet his eyes were wide open. "Y—Yeah I do..." He scratched the back of his neck. "What exactly did he told you?"
"Nothing important," she kept smiling. "Just that you broke his heart."with that being said Karma's expression darkened, he lowered his head and walked to the exit of the kitchen. "But he is willing to forgive you."
The smile was something scared Karma, but he doesn't give a shit about that anymore. His expression changed he looked amused and somehow excited, she rushed to Aguri and shook her. "Did he really said that?! Who are you by the way?! Are you someone close to him?! Is it true?"
"Calm down." She breathed. "Yes, he did. I'm Aguri the owner of the orphanage, I'm like his mother and yes, it's true." She smiled. "He told me you broke a promise, something about the orphanage?"
"A promise?" He muttered. "SHIT!" He cursed and hit the table, this scared Aguri but she didn't back away. "I totally forgot about that! Was that his condition or something?"
She stared at him with the same expression. The same smile. "It was that you had to come with him first." Aguri took a sip from the cup she was drinking of, and smirked.
Karma started to walked to the hall but Aguri stopped him, asking him where was he going, he answered, "Getting my Nagisa back." Just imagine some explosions in the background, Karma wearing sunglasses and a cigarette between his lips, while weed and doritos magically fell from the sky.
He was decided and confident, he needed to plan something, as fast as he could, and find the right moment, and there is were he realized when school year was almost finish. Nagisa's graduation was in 2 weeks. The promise was that he would give the chance in every orphan to go to school, in fact he would pay everything, but money for Karma wasn't a problem at all.
He would get his Nagisa back no matter what.
