We were sitting on Josh's couch. I feel like we are getting so close. I keep scooting closer and closer to him. I was ready to tell him how I feel, or at least I thought I was ready. I stared claiming up inside. The words were on the tip of my tongue, but I couldn't bring myself to say them. I didn't know when the right time was. I had the words all planned out. I was ready. "Hey, Josh. Can I tell you something?" "Yeah, of course," he replies. "I-I-I have a huge..." I start to say.
We hear a knock at the door. "Can this wait?" He asked obliviously. "Yeah, I guess," I reply disappointedly. This could not be worse timing. This was just my luck. I was about to tell him. The words were coming out! He gets up to get the door and all I hear is a scream and see someone jump on him. I grab the closest thing to me, which happened to be a TV remote, and ran to the door. "Joshey! I missed you!" I hear someone yell. I come around the corner with a remote in my hand and I see Josh hugging Allison. Or at least I hope its her. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess this is Allison..." I say awkwardly standing behind them. She looks at me over his shoulder and says, "You must be Hannah! I've heard so much about you! He talks about you all the time on the..." He gives her an evil stare. Kind of like the ones I give my mom when she talks about me to her friends. I smile at him and he smiles back. "He talks about you all the time too, I feel like I practically know everything about you," I say with a smile.
We all sit down and talk. I see how how happy he when she is here. It makes me happy to see him happy, but I was hoping it would be me making him that happy.
