It's only been a week since I met Allison, but I feel like the three of us have become pretty good friends. She's is exactly like Josh. Well, a less manly version. She was friendly to everyone. She never said anything rude and was always happy. I could understand why her and Josh are such good friends.

I was so happy I was friends with them. They made me happy. A lot of my friends that school weren't really my friends. They all talked behind my back and were nice to my face. That's what I liked about Josh and Allison. I know they would never talk behind my back. I mean, they never talked behind anybodies back.

"Hey, guys! Wanna go to the beach?" I hear Allison tell once I step off the last step of the bus. "Sure, but I can only go for a little bit. I have soccer tryouts today!" Josh yells back.

We get to the beach and start to play in the sand. We all loved to build sandcastles. We had contests on who could build the biggest castle without it falling. I always one of course. I was the sandcastle master.

After it is declared I am once again the sandcastle queen, Josh announces he has to go get ready for the tryouts and walks slowly off the beach. Surprisingly, it wasn't awkward after he had left. I Had never hung out with Allison without Josh before except a few times at the bus stop when Josh was running late. We sat there and just talked. It was like me and Josh talking, but we could talk about girl stuff. We talked about her crushes and the how there aren't any hot guys at our school. Out of no where she says to me, "I know you have a crush on Josh." "Psh! I don't know what your talking about.. I..I.. Josh? What? We are just friends, I swear," I reply. Trying to hide my face that probably looks about as red as a fire truck by now. "You like him." She says with a creepy grin on her face. "Okay maybe a little." I say under my breath. "Awe! You guys would be so cute together! I can tell he likes you too!" She says very excitedly. "He does?" I say back with a confused look on my face. "It's so obvious!" She says looking at me like I'm stupid for not realizing. I don't know how to respond. So I just sit there smiling and thinking about how he could possibly like me.
