and be prepared for the longest chapter ever.

one month later..

> holland's pov <

well its been a month since ive gotten kicked out and my belly is becoming bigger and bigger every day, its scary.

plans changed that night when i got off the phone with althea. i couldnt sleep at all because i was stressed and it sucked. so i sat there, drinking a cup of water, thinking.

i laughed at myself for a good two minutes. i thought of the greatest idea ever.

i was thinking of searching for homes in los angeles. i didnt want to stay in arizona because to many things has happened there.

so that morning, i hailed a taxi. the taxi took me to the library where i searched for houses and apartments that were available. to my luck, there were many houses and apartments available.

so there was two houses i was interested in.

the first house had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a really nice front and backyard. the kitchen and living room were huge. the pay was $4,500.

the second house had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a huge backyard with a pool. the living room and kitchen were okay, not too big and not too small. the pay was $6,200.

then i was interested in an apartment.

it has one bedroom, a big kitchen, a big living room, and a bathroom. and the pay was $300 every month.

so i decided with the apartment.

i called the complex place where the apartment was located. they said they had an opening tomorrow at noon. and i took it so i could get a tour and to fill out the applications.

so that night, i had a taxi drive me all the way to la. we left phoenix around 6 in the evening and arrived around midnight. it was only a 5 hour drive. so i paid $250 to the taxi driver and thanked him.

he dropped me off at a hotel and i paid for two nights. i fell asleep knowing that me, a 16 year old girl, is living on her own.

if anyone ever judges me, i will say i am doing this for my child. all this for my baby because now, he is the only priority in my life.

i woke up around 10 in the morning and got ready. i decided to go for a walk because i wanted to get use to walking in la. i stopped at a small diner and ordered myself a sub sandwich and a lemonade.

as i was eating, i looked out the window and across the street is a small flower shop.

now hiring it read. i payed for my meal and walked over to the shop.

when i walked in, the bell chimed above me and soon a lady in her mid 30's im guessing came out of the back.

"oh why hello dear." she greeted.

"hello." i greeted. "i saw your sign outside your shop and was wondering if i could apply." i said.

"yeah yeah. sure. fill this out and bring it back." she handed me a single sheet of paper. i scanned over it and smiled. i thanked her and left. it was now 11:30. so i called a taxi and it drove me to the complex which was 3 miles away.

i made it to the complex area and waited a good 15 minutes. a lady came out of the back and looked at me.

"do you have an appointment?" she asked.
