I'm sitting on the couch watching television when Rand walks into the room with a bag. He drops it by the bed and walks over, plopping himself on the couch beside me. His arms come around me and pulls me to him and I'm instantly comforted.

"Are you okay?"

I nod, "I'm fine. It helps that you are here." I take a chance and put my head on his shoulder and his arm tightens around me.

"You know that he didn't mean anything mean by what he did, right?"

I nod again, "I know. It just hurts that he used me like that without my permission." I don't tell him the whole reason that I'm upset. We sit quietly and look at the rest of the show that I'm watching on television. After the show is over, Rand takes his bag in the bathroom and gets ready for bed, while I settle into bed.

He gets into the bed and pulls me to him. He doesn't wrap himself around me like Cameron does, or just put his hand on my back like Dylan. I lay on my back and he places my head on his shoulder with his arm across my back and his hand on my stomach. I look at him and he gazes at me.

"I'm so glad that I get to sleep with you tonight. I feel like I've been waiting forever for my turn."

"Why?" I ask. I like that they have spent the night with me the past few nights. For some reason I don't have nightmares when they are here.

"I worry about you when you're not with us. You have become very important to me. To all of us if I'm going to be completely honest with you. So don't think that anything we do is because we feel sorry for you, we genuinely care for you and want you near so that we can make sure that you are okay," His eyes are tender as he looks at me.

"Thanks. I care about you all too. I like it when you sleep with me, it helps ward off the nightmares. I feel comfortable with you also." I admit. He smiles at me and pulls me a little closer. We fall asleep that way.

I wake up about midnight and pad into the bathroom. After taking care of business and washing my hands, I decide that I want a midnight snack and my dessert is calling my name. I put on the slippers that Ronnie picked out for me and go downstairs to the kitchen pulling the dessert out of the refrigerator.

I look at the chocolaty goodness and decide to heat it before I eat it. I place it in the microwave and set the timer before getting a fork out of the drawer. I pull a second one out because I feel Cameron behind me. I turn back to the microwave and pull out the dessert, before turning and taking the dessert over to the countertop, setting it in between Cameron and I, while handing him the second fork.

He quietly takes it from me and we both take a bite of the chocolate lava cake and my eyes roll up in my head. It tastes so rich and chocolaty.

Cameron pulls me out of my musings, "How did you know I was here?"

"I felt you."

"What do you mean?"

"When you are by me, I have a certain feeling. I just know it's you." I try to explain without going into too much detail.

He considers what I say as he takes another bite of the cake, "What feeling do you get when I come around?"

"I can't explain it, but I know it's you," I'm intentionally vague.

He gives me a skeptical look, like he knows that I can explain, but lets it go, "I really am sorry about tonight. I shouldn't have done that without your permission. You are far more important to me than what I showed you at the restaurant. I also have more respect for you than to treat you like I did."
