A Party?

Garroth's POV

Date night last night went great, Laurance and I had a lot of fun and the food was amazing... We talked about that party we were invited to and I decided we should go to it.

Its in a few hours so Laurance decided he needs to 'prepare' me "Okay, there's gonna be a lot of people there and probably beer pong and loud music." He said acting as if he was a teacher "If anyone offers you drugs don't take them!" He emphasized the word "Don't"

"Laurance, is it really smart for us to be going to a party with drugs?" I laughed at his lecturing.

"Okay there probably won't be drugs there but i'm just saying if there are don't take them." He crossed his arms and continued "Now if they have alcohol there it's okay for you to drink but; I don't think you should have that much seeing as your tolerance is pretty low." 

"Relax I'll probably only have a shot or two." I said shrugging. 

"Hopefully you won't get to drunk and do something stupid." He mumbled.

"I won't mom!" I joked playfully. After that painfully long lecture Laurance and I watched an episode of AHS then got ready to leave.

*Knock Knock Knock* Laurance knocked as I waited behind him "Laurance, great to see you! I assume this is your boyfriend?" Isa said happily as she answered the door.

"Yeah, Garroth this is Isa!" Laurance said happily "Thanks for inviting us, it's nice to meet you!" I said politely.

"Help yourself to the drinks in the fridge, there's chips and snacks on the counters, oh and try to socialize with people!" She said after letting us inside.

  "Come on lets go get some drinks!" Laurance said dragging me into the kitchen. He got a bottle out of the fridge and pored the substance into two shot glasses.

"Cheers!" He said handing me the shot as we clinked glasses. I took the whole thing in one gulp and shook my head as Laurance giggled "You okay?" He asked. 

"It's strong!" I said with a small pucker.

"Duh, It's supposed to be!" He said in a sarcastic tone "I'm gonna go 'socialize' with people, you coming with?" He asked holding my hand.

"Yeah sounds fun..." I replied, he smiled and we walked around the apartment.

Laurances POV

I looked around trying to find approachable people, I feel kinda bad I dragged Garroth into this...

"Garroth, Laurance, Is that you?" A familiar voice said behind us. We turned around at the same time to see who it was. "Brendan!" Garroth said happily.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well Isa's my girlfriend so I automatically get invited to her party's!" Brendan laughed "Have you guys had any drinks yet? You seem pretty sober!" He asked.

"We've only had one shot each so yeah, we're still pretty sober." I shrugged.

"Then come on guys, you're here to have a good time right?" He laughed pulling us over to the kitchen.

"You okay with this?" I whispered to Garroth.

"Yeah I'll be fine!" He said giving a comforting smile.

We got to the kitchen and Brendan called over Isa and a few friends she was with, he poured shots and drinks for everyone and we all had a cheers.

Ten minutes past and I was starting to feel the effects. I wasn't drunk but I was feeling buzzed. Garroth had ran off to go play beer pong so Brendan, Isa and I talked and a few other people joined to.
