Alit's POV:
We ran. We ran as fast as we could.
"Where are we going?" Ray yelled.
"Stop asking!" Mizeal shouted.
"Shut it you two!" Dumon yelled.
I looked behind me. The guards were coming in fast.
"This way!" I yelled.
I turned a corner.
"Wait, Alit!"
I didn't stop. Finally I stopped.
"Is everyone alright?" I asked.
Silence. I turned around. No one was there.
"Ray, Mizeal, Dumon?"
Silence. Oh no. What have I done. I was about to run back, but a voice stopped me.
"Alit!"
I turned around. She came and hugged me.
"I thought, I'll never see you again!"
"Iris, we need to talk."
She let go.
"I'll explain-
She never finished her sentence. I leaned forward, and our lips touched.
