After we got home, she plopped down on the couch, "You gunna be okay," she asked softly. I nodded and made myself a grilled cheese. before sitting on a chair across from her. We put in a movie and watched it mindlessly.

Angelinia and I both jumped at a series of rapid knocks thundered against our door. I looked at her, confused for a moment before moving sluggishly to the door. I turned the knob and and pulled the door open about two inches to reveal a young male fairy I'd never seen before. "Can I help you," I asked cautiously, hiding behind the door.

"C'mon cousin," He exclaimed, "I know we haven't seen each other in years, but have you really forgotten me," he sounded truely hurt, but I honestly didn't remember him. I shook my head slowly from side to side, my eyes never leaving his. His eyes were light green with a rim of deep blue that matched his beautifully cut white blond hair. He shoved the door open far enough to get through and slammed if closed behind him, making me jump.

"Was that really necessary," I asked him quietly, "and no, I don't remember you," I added flatly.

He ignored my first question and went directly to my fridge and grabbed a soda and leaned against the kitchen table. "You shouldn't remember me," He started, breaking the seel and chugging my last 16oz Pepsi, "I've never met you before. My name's Niel, Auston sent me,"Niel studied me for a moment before continuing, "I thought you knew the plan, but I guess not." I looked at my watch. 4:45pm. Just over an hour since I got home from the- "What are you?" his voice broke me from my thoughts.

"Excuse me?" I asked annoyed.

"What are you?" He repeated calmly, "you look like a fairy, but you have no wings and there's no way Auston would entrust me to a human," he laughed at the thought.

"I am a fairy," I spat furiously. "Who are you to judge me? You show up at my house unannounced, shove your way in, and steal from me without so much as a second thought," I exclaimed.

Niel laughed again, pissing me off even more, "If you say so. And I expect you tell me that she," he glanced at Angelinia, who had come running when I displayed my distress, "is a purple monkey."

I was at my limit, I'm used to people making fun of me, but no one had ever dared to say anything about Angelinia. I screamed in frustration. "Get out of my house before I kill you," I cried, "you know nothing of my life, bastard." I took a step towards him and clenched my fist and brought it up to my shoulder, prepared to strike him.

"You wouldn't dare," He said with a smirk, "hit your King's eldest son." My fist dropped, not because I was afraid of the consequences, but because I was shocked at myself for not being able to connect the dots.

I kicked his shin, "I don't give a rat's ass who you are," I yelled, "You have no right to talk that way about Angel." If looks could kill, he'd be dead. "She has done absolutely nothing to you, so back off." I shoved past him and left my own home in an attempt to blow off some steam. I hated the prince.
