Human!Zinogre x Reader: My Guard Dog

You were only 12 at that time...An orphan,forgotten and pushed away .You end up lost in a forest,after being chased away by a seller for stealing an apple. Good news; you lost him. Bad news; your lost in a dangerous forest.

You heard a rustle in the tress and bushes."W-Who's there?",you ask as if someone is there. Growling was all you heard. Hearing more than one growl, you were guessing it was a pack. Soon it was revealed as a pack of jaggis; You started to run like your back is on fire. You felt like heaven was punishing you right now, but good thing you ate the apple for energy. Running and hiding was all in your mind as you go deeper in the forest.

You came to a dead end cliff. You must have great strength just to cross to the other side. Under the cliff was river with sharp rocks. Looking back you saw the jaggis are cornering you,as the leader stepped into the middle,slowly walking towards you. You smiled sadly at the thought of being dead with no one to remember. Closing your eyes you awaited death to consume you.

A roar was heard in a distance,as well as thunder and lightning strikes from the sky. Harsh winds blew on your face,almost pushing you off the cliff. Suddenly a giant figure ran,quickly tackling the pack. Then it started to rain. The huge figure pushed and attack the jaggis. Punching and pulverized the ones who had the guts to attack it, some were able to climb it's back for an advantage, but it tackled into a giant rock, completely knocking them out cold, and the others were sent flying of the cliff with just the swish of it's tail.

The Great Jaggi was the only one left. The unknown figure soon turned it's head to face you. It's striking electric blue eyes stared at your (e/c) ones, but was soon shifted to look at the Great Jaggi. The Great Jaggi turned it's head away from you and growled at the intruder. The both of them circled each other, as you were frozen into place. Your only way of exit was being blocked by them. Your eyes fixed in front of you and the tension from the air was thick. The two giant monsters continued to circle each other, then slowly came to a stop. The growling only grew, waiting for the other to do the first move.

And soon the Great Jaggi was the first one to attack. It roared and attempted to tackle the figure, but the said figure used it's claws to scratch the Great Jaggi on the side of it's head with force. The Jaggi whined in pain and quickly using it's tail to whip it against it's opponents face and tackled it before it recovers. The Jaggi tried to push it of the cliff, but it stood up and fought back. Gaining some ground back on it's feet.

They exchanged attacks. Even if the silhouette of the monster was all you see, it was obvious that it was also wounded from the smaller ones from before. The Great Jaggi whipped it's tail once again on it's head and climbed it's back then proceeded to attack it. It's fangs and claws dug on it's back, and the figure groaned in pain.

The tables were turned when it tackled the another huge rock, knocking the Great Jaggi's breath out of it's lungs. As the Great Jaggi fell and laid on the ground, you yelped when it's opponent locked it's jaws around it's neck and heard a sickening crack. Dead.

But that was when also the ground on your feet crumble down. You tried to shout, but no words came out of your mouth. The world seems to slow down and you close your eyes, accepting your fate.

A tug from the back of your shirt stopped you from falling. "Huh?", you slowly looked up. Cold droplets showered your face, as a light from the lightening shown the identity of your savior. It was non other than Zinogre. The King Of The Mountain. It's blue eyes looked down on you. You can feel the power in his eyes as he lifted you up. You expected to be put down, but he carried you through the storm.
