In that moment when the sun shines the brightest, the originally gleeful day suddenly turned dark, changing to a gloomy night with a flash of shining bright lightnings followed by the startling deep rumbling noise of thunder.

Under that angry starless night, the cries of an infant resounded all around the terra before the sun had taken back its position to shine for another day.

"Take her far away, to a place no one knows, to avoid misfortune before the time of the prophecy," a voice of an unknown origin stated grimly in the pack hospital.

"I can't get to keep my baby? No! Prophecy or not, I am keeping her!" A woman indignantly exclaimed, choking in tears. "Not when I just had her," she added.

"We don't have time. We have to take her far away," he replied with a sigh. He moved closer to the bed, speaking with gentleness and an underlying sadness, "I know it is going to be hard for you but we just have to. I love her just as you do and I want to be there when she says her first word but we are left with no choice."

He paused, staring down at her resolute form. Pain formed in his eyes. "Please," he pleaded with a pair devastated eyes glistening with tears that were threatening to fall.

The woman breathed sharply, looking down at her newborn with conflicted emotions before looking back up to him. "On one condition," she whispered. "We will leave her in the hands of a distant friend and we will constantly be in touch with them." She swept a finger under her eyes, trying to wipe the unending tears away. She clung to the baby on her arms, cradling her with so much love despite the pain that was about to plague them.

The man closed his eyes and lightly nodded, answering, "Anything you want, dear." He leaned in to her, kissing her forehead before moving slightly to soothe her hair.

Silence befell them for a moment, both parties trying their best to cope with the situation. The man broke the silence when a thought flashed through his mind. He opened his mouth, his intention unclear whether or not he's trying to delibarately lighten the mood.

"Aren't you going to give her a name?" He asked, looking straight into her eyes with a sincere assurance and comfort.

She didn't answer for a full minute, finding herself stuck at looking down the little infant cradled to her chest. A small sad and fragile smile appeared on her lips when she replied,

"Arlena."
