3rd person POV

It had been ten years since that day, and the Dursley household did not show that it hold three more children.

Nine year old Lily and James were asleep in the cupboard under the stairs with, their older brother, Harry Potter. The twins deeply loved Harry and would do anything to make the hell that they call home happy. Everything thing that they did was joyful and mischievous. Wether it was saying a rubbish joke (and trust me they had loads of them) to full on pranking the Dursley's they always brought a smile to his face. For in the next week to come they would need all the smiles they could get.

'Up!' Screeched their Aunt Petunia, 'up,! Up!'

Harry sat up immediately as he was a morning person but the twins were most definitely not. They were still asleep completely unfazed by their Aunt's screeching.

'Up!' She screeched again this time wrapping on the door of the cupboard loudly.

This woke Lily up as she wasn't as light sleeper as Harry but she wasn't as a heavy sleeper as her twin James, who was still asleep. Harry often wondered how he did it.
When Petunia did this, Lily sat up at an inhuman speed and hit her head on the celling of the cupboard.

'Ouch!' Lily exclaimed rather loudly.

Wether their Aunt heard she didn't make any fuss about it.
'I want everything to be perfect for my Dudders birthday!'

This sentence rose James as he exclaimed, very loudly and obvious disgust showing in his voice.

'Its Dudley's birthday!' Dudley, if you didn't know who he is. Is the Dursley's abnormally large son who looked a lot like Uncle Vernon but with Aunt Petunia's hair. Aunt Petunia often  says that he is he is a blonde angle, whilst Harry and James say his is a pig in a wig. Which goes on to Lily telling them to stop offending pigs across the world. By that time all the Potter's are in silent fits of laughter.

Anyway back to when James wakes up. Harry and Lily groaned as well. How could they forget Dudley's birthday?

'What did you say?' Snapped Aunt Petunia.

'Nothing,' mumbled Harry and James. Whilst Lily was mumbling under her breath that they didn't say anything they groaned. Lily grabbed her clothes and climbed out of the cupboard. Although the Dursley's didn't care for them but they absolutely would not let Lily dress with the boys. Also they gave Lily ok clothes as she was a girl and not a boy, they were cheap but she looked presentable with what she wore.

Groaning James sat up and like Lily hit his head on the celling.

'Ouch!' He muttered and got dressed into his usual blue jeans and red and blue checked shirt, that was identical to Harry's. They climbed out of the cupboard not before being pushed back in due to their wonderful cousin Dudley.

They trudged into the living area and their Uncle barked 'tidy your hair up,' which was his way of saying good morning. Lily was already down wearing her favourite green jumper and leggings. She looked very out of place in the kitchen as it was full of dull colours (as were most of the Dursley's rooms) but with her bright green top the same colour as her eyes and her vibrant red hair she really did stand out.

Lily was the only Potter with red hair but she and Harry had the same bright green eyes that shone with kindness and intelligence but hers also showed mischief a bit like her twins hazel eyes. James and Harry had messy Raven black hair that stuck out all over the place. They all did look related in one way but Harry stood out the most with his lightning bolt scar on his forehead.
