James pov
I woke up to a beam of light shining on my face, I groan and turn over and open my eyes to see bright red hair and a big brown coat over the top of Lily, Harry and I. and thats when the memories come flooding back from yesterday.
Im a Wizard; magics real. I want to jump up and down, but I dont want to wake Lily or Harry up so I settle for having a big silly grin on my face.
"Moring James," a sleepy voice said next to me.
"Moring Lily," I say full of energy. I turn to her as is just starting to sit up when she sits up really quickly as if she had just been shocked.
"Magic: Its real!" she whispers excitedly.
"I know!" I say back with the same amount of enthusiasm.
Just then Harry started to stir, we immediately quiet. But the quietness is broken when a tapping noise at the window. I look towards it and saw: wait.
"Is that an owl?" Lily says incredulously.
I was going to answer when Harry mumbled Okay aunt Petunia, Im getting up. He opened his eyes and jumped up; pushing the warm coat off us.
"Oy!" I say looking at Harry, while Lily is giggling at him.
"Sorry," said Harry not sounding sorry at all.
He looked towards the owl and tried to shoo the owl away, but the bird was having nothing of it.
I then kinda tuned out just chatting to Lily about magic. We were talking about spells when Hagrid asked us if we wanted a sausage.
"I can't take yer with us so yer'll have ter go with the Dursleys." Hagrid said apologetically.
"Its fine Hagrid," Lily said kindly.
Harry and Hagrid went to the boat and we waved them off.
Now we wait, we sit down outside and I put my arm around Lily and she leans into it.

The ride back to the house was really awkward, The Dursleys just ignored us and Lily and I just whispered to each other. And when we arrived at the house they just walked in the house not sparing a glance at us. Lily and I looked at each other and walked in the house closing the door walking up to our rooms. When Harry arrived we showered him with questions asking why he had an owl.
The wizarding world sounded awesome. Harry had gotten some books for me and a lot of books for Lily- which she should have finished in no time. The days spent up to Hogwarts went really slow. We read our books, tried spell and tested Harry on knowledge which he got most of them right. Harry counted the days down and soon it was time to go to Hogwarts and leaving us. He even managed to get uncle Vernon to take him to the train station. When it was time to go Harry got up very early and didnt go back to sleep.
"I'm going to miss you two," Harry said to use while hugging us.
"You'd better write every day," Lily said while crushing Harry to death.
"I'll miss you Harry," I say hugging Harry.
"I'll write and I'll see you in July," Harry promised
"Bye!" we shout waving madly watching the car drive around the corner.
"Three become two," I mutter.
"Shut up," Lily says.
"Make me," I reply running off.
"Get back here!"
It was going to be a long 10 months but Im sure well manage.
