CHAPTER 8: BIRTHDAY PART 3

SASUKE'S POV

"No, I would never love him. I just played with him and he's also a freak. It was just acting all the time." I said. "Wow. That's pretty sad.. Naruto doesn't need to find out about this." Kiba told us. After two minutes of pure silence Sakura decided to speak. "Again, why do you have this in your bookshelf?" She said. "I really don't know. When I buy books I just buy them to be there. I don't read them. It's just for facade." I told and they all started to laugh. "And where's Naruto by the way?" Hinata asked me with a worried look on her face. "He should come by-" I stopped when I heard someone opened the door shut hitting the wall. "Itachi, what's wrong?" Kiba asked him while I was trying to figure what was that important for him to slam the door. "Naruto ran out of the house!" He said while he was trying to catch his breath. "What?" My heart skipped a beat. Why would he run away? "I don't know.. He was also crying." Itachi told us. Sakura almost fell on the ground if Sai wouldn't be there. "Let's go after him. NOW!" I shouted and we all started to run out of the house.

"Why would he cry? We didn't do anything to him!" Tenten said as she speed up. "I don't know.. we need to find him!" I told them while we were running straight forward because we had no idea where to go. After two minutes of running I heard some ambulance sirens. "What the.." I said and then I pointed the group to follow me to the sound of the source. "Sasuke what are you do-" Sakura stopped as she saw who was on the ground in front of a car. "No.." She said and then she fainted. She almost fell on the ground again but Sai helped her again. Everyone froze at their sight including me. "Naruto!!!" I screamed as I was running towards him. "I'm sorry, you can't pass-" I cut the man off. "SHUT UP!" I shouted and then I jumped right next to Naruto. My heartbeat started to increase. There was blood all around his head "Why..." I started to cry as I leaned closer to his chest with my forehead. "Sir, we need to take him-" Some paramedics tried to tell me something but I cut them off again. "I'm not leaving him and that's it!!!" I shouted at them with all my strength still crying a lot holding Naruto's hand very tight. I know they had to take him to hospital as soon as possible but I didn't want to leave him. Not now. "You can come with us if you want." They told me while they picked up Naruto putting him on a hospital stretcher. I didn't say anything anymore. I let go of Naruto's hand and entered the ambulance. "Get your cars and come to hospital!" I shouted at my friends trying to control my crying. They all nodded as they started to run back at my house. I sat down and I picked up Naruto's hand again holding it tight. "Is he your friend?" A woman asked me with a smile on her face. "No.. He's my boyfriend.." I told her trying not to stutter. "Oh.." She said still smiling. "Don't worry! He's in a stable condition now. We just need to wait till we arrive at hospital." She assured me with a warm smile on her face. "Thank you.." I told her looking down at my feet trying to hold my crying. I failed. "I'm here now, Naruto.." I said looking at him. His face was covered with an oxygen mask. "Yeah, right! I almost forgot. What's his name again?" She asked me as she grabbed a notebook and a pencil. "Uzumaki Naruto.." I told her while I was still looking at my blond. "Did you just say Uzumaki?" She asked me with widened eyes. "Yeah, why?" I told her and then she whispered something to the other paramedics that were in this ambulance with a smile on her face. "Who are his parents?" She asked me while my face was turning into a sadder one. "I don't know, he didn't tell me.. He only did tell me that they died when he was born.. That's all I know." I told her while I was trying not to start crying again. I had to be strong for Naruto. If not me then who? "So this is true.." She said looking at Naruto. "He really is the son of Kushina.." She said and then she stood up. "Driver!" She said loudly enough for the driver to hear her. "Faster please!" She said and then she came and sit down next to me. "Who is Kushina?" I asked her as her face turned into a sad one. "Kushina is his mother.." She said looking at my blond. "She worked here in Konoha as a doctor. She was very talented and she loved what she was doing but.." She stopped while she was trying to find the right words to tell me. "Well.. she passed away when she gave birth to Naruto.. nobody knows why either.." She said. After three minutes of pure silence we reached the hospital. It was already 10:00pm. We got out of the ambulance and we immediately took Naruto into the hospital. Well.. by "we" I mean "they" because I was useless. After one minute of thinking how useless I was at the moment I heard someone running towards me. I turned around and the whole group was here except for Sakura. "Where's Sakura?" I asked them. "She fainted, remember?" Hinata told me. "Right." I said and then I turned my gaze to Kiba who was crying like a five year old kid in Shikamaru's shoulder. "KIBA!" I screamed and everyone flinched. Kiba also stopped crying even if he was still sobbing. I walked up to him as I put my hands on his shoulders. "I don't think Naruto wants to see you crying when he will wake up." I told him while I was trying not to start crying again. "NO!" I told myself. "If he will.." He said and then without hesitation I punched him in his jaw with my fist making him fall on the ground. "Sasuke! What the fuck?!" Chouji said as he and Shikamaru helped Kiba getting up. I felt my knees loosening as I fell on my butt on the ground. My body was shaking like crazy. I just punched Kiba. What did I just do? "Sasuke, are you alright?" Sai asked me but I didn't answer him. My heartbeat was high. After a moment of thinking I decided to stand up as I walked straight to Kiba. "Punch me." I ordered him. "What?" He said with a frown look. "I said punch me. NOW!" I shouted but still he didn't move a muscle. "No!" He said. "Yes!" "No!" "YES!" "NO!" "DO IT ALREADY" I shouted with all my strength as he lifted up his hand and then he punched me straight in my face. I felt my face burning but I didn't care. I also felt dizzy and I almost fell on the ground but Kiba decided to catch me. "I'm sorry..." I told him. "No problem and I'm sorry too.." He told me as he was holding me preventing me from falling on the ground. "No, I deserved it." I told him in sad voice. "Let's go see what's going on with Naruto." Chouji said and then we all entered the hospital.
