Phil's pov

As I waited for Dan to Skype me, I was indescribably nervous. My hands were shaking. My heart was beating a thousand miles per hour. What would Dan think of me once he could actually see me behind a screen?

My laptop suddenly began beeping.

Danisnotonfire is calling...

This was it. The moment I'd talk to Dan. To the boy I met by chance. I clicked "accept" and he appeared on my screen, a small smile spread across my face. And then he spoke.
"H-hey, Phil..." I chuckled slightly. He was stuttering. How couldn't I have guessed, he was just as nervous as I was.
"Hey, Dan..."

After 5ish minutes of talking I took a sneaky picture on my phone to put onto Instagram.
Dan's bedroom door opened and I saw a female figure walk over to Dan's chest of drawers. Dan turned towards the sound, clearly slightky embarrassed.
"Mum!! Knock before you enter, please!" Dan's mum laughed before turning to face him, looking from her son to the screen. To me. I looked down silently. His mum's voice came closer.
"Oh, ah, still talking to Phil, huh, Daniel?" she chuckled.
"I'll leave you two to it then." she walked out. Shutting the door. Dan turned back towards the laptop, his face flushed a soft pink colour.
"S-sorry about that..." he made a small chuckle.

We soon began talking again until there was actually a knock on his door. Dan smiled slightly.
"One sec."
He stood up and walked over to his door. This was the first time I'd seen a full body image of him. Tall, slim, almost...attractive...Wait. What?!
I was so caught up, I didn't realise Dan and a male figure were looking at the screen until there was a cough from Dan. I jumped slightly.
"sorry...did you say something?" Dan then began laughing.
"ah, got through to you then. I have to go now. Family stuff. I'll message you later." he walked back to the laptop and sat down briefly. I nodded.
"Talk later, Dan."
He smiled.
"Bye, Phil."
Then the call ended...
