Noticing the situation, the guys left me there with that bitch who by the way I still don’t know the name of. I noticed a few dark clouds outside my window and wondered if there would be a storm today. After a few minutes of very uncomfortable and awkward moments there was a welcome knock at my door. I left to get it immediately not wanting to even be in the same room as her for another second.

While we were waiting for Logan we both attempted to start a conversation but neither of us succeeded, well neither of us really wanted to have a conversation with the other but we were trying to be civilized. At least I was trying to be civilised.

I opened the door and let out a breath that I didn’t realise I was holding when I saw Logan on the other side of the door. I wanted to run straight into his arms and just have him hold me, I wanted to forget about the nasty lady sitting at my dining table but I knew I couldn’t. I had to stay composed for Logan’s sake.

“Felicity.” He acknowledged as he walked through the door

“Ah Logan, my dear boy”

“I am NOT your ‘dear boy’” he interrupted with a bit of venom to his words

Felicity looked appalled “You do not speak your manager in that manner Logan”

“I’ll stop if you stop harassing my girlfriend!” he replied harshly

I was still getting used to the idea of him calling me his girlfriend. It just felt… right.

“And anyway you’re not even my real manager, my mum is! You’re just her adviser. You might as well just leave now, it’ll save you from the embarrassment of being fired” He added

Felicity’s look changed from appalled to downright furious

“You can’t fire me. Like you said it’s your mum’s job. And I’m the best manager in the city, do you think you’ll be able to find someone better than me do advise your mum?” she countered maliciously

“We might not be able to find someone better but we will definitely be able to find someone with that actually knows how to be nice to people.” Retorted Logan

With that, Felicity stomped defeated out of my apartment and into the storm that was about to rage in the suburbs surrounding the city.

I sighed in relief and say bluntly “Well thank fuck, she’s gone”

“Tell me about.” Logan agreed as he took my over to the couch and sat me on his lap. “Do you know what tomorrow is?” he asked me

I was trying to think of anything that it could be but came up blank.

“I have no idea” I said honestly

“Your brother and his friends leave”

“Yeah and? I fail to see the significance of that.”

I could feel his chest rumble and only assume that he was laughing silently at my stupidity

“Your dad has to Skype interrogate me”

“Shit! You’re right” I bolted upright “You better get studying”

“Correction, we should get studying”
