A/N: I'm back and I'm better. I've been away for so long, but I'm back. I will be taking my book seriously because, I want to purse a side career in writing when I graduate high school next year. I'm planning to upload a part of this story twice every week, until it finishes. I plan on finishing before Christmas and maybe doing a sequel in 2017. Without anymore annoying A/N here we go!

Avery POV
"Good shot!" said the director.
Today we were shooting the video for my comedy song 'Ice Cream', and it was a hell of a lot of fun. I was hanging out with two cool girls listening to a fun song, doing stupid things.
"That was great Avery, but I was wondering if you got any new material?" I spun around and I saw my beautiful manger Alicia Keys.
"I do have new material but I wanted to do a cover to hotline bling, and really get my sound out there!" I said with a smile at the end.
"That's cool, be in the studio tomorrow and we'll see what your working with." said Alicia Keys. I nodded.

I was listening to the song on repeat. I mean the song I recorded yesterday with my childhood best friend...I mean what were the odds? It makes sense now that she seemed to remember my locket.
"What should we call the song?" said Scooter
"Uh...The Feeling?" I said and looked at him with a 'duh' expression. Scooter gave a look and he smiled.
"So, who's this song about now?" said Scooter, as I sent him a death glare.
"The old girl or the new girl?" as he said that he point to the sound system and Aaliyah's voice filled the room.
"Definitely the new girl." I said smirking, standing up and walking out the room, leaving Scooter dumbfounded.
Definitely the new girl alright...
