Avery POV

I got out of my bed and now I'm dressed. Alicia texted me and told me that while I'll be singing that they were going to video it, and make it a music video. I thought that would be a really good opportunity, so I beat my face to the gods. I am currently waiting downstairs for an uber.

Justin POV 

I was driving down my street but I ended up seeing someone who looked very familiar...it was Aaliyah. So I pulled up next to her and rolled down my window...

"Where you headed to?"

Avery POV

I looked up from my phone and I saw Justin with his cocky grin, I simply said "I'm waiting for my uber to go to the studio."

"Hey, I'm on my way to the studio would you like a ride?" he offered 

"No, I have an uber on the way." I declined...the thought of my being in a car with him was way to soon. 

"C'mon! It's a free ride and you don't even have to talk to me if you don't want to..." he said. I started to think about it, I would save some money in my pocket. I heavily sighed and walked around the car and hopped into the passenger seat. Justin took off as soon as I closed the door. His car was a nice car, just not my taste. 

"Do you know what car this is?" he asked me. 

"It's a Cadillac CTS-V Coupe, is it not?" I answered him. 

"Woah! The only other girl I knew who liked cars as much as I do was my best friend Aaliyah." he said and smiled. Why does he keep bringing her- I mean me up? 

"Would you like to know a bit about her?" he asked me.

"I thought you said I didn't have to talk to you?" I said, narrowing my eyes at him. He smiled. 

"Let me be honest then, I will be doing most of the talking anyway." he said, as he slowed down. I looked ahead and realized that there was a red light. That would only make this car ride a lot longer. 

"I mean don't you want to know why I keep bringing her up?" I looked over at him and he was staring at me, our eyes connected for a second and I looked away. 

"It's your car, who whatever you please..." I said looking back out my window. 

"She was my childhood best friend, I told her anything and everything, she did as well. We never kept secrets from each other, Aaliyah was very important to me." he said

"Oh." I responded and the light turned green. He continued driving.

"I wonder what ever happened to her. I should probably call her mom and find out." he said, I tried my best to keep calm. 

 "That's cool, do you mind if I turn on the radio?" I said trying to keep calm. 

"Oh actually I got the final recording for our song, I was listening to it this morning..." he said and pressed play, then the re-wind button. I let out a silent heavy sigh. 

@ 9:30 am

Justin parked the car and we got out. 

"That was fun, maybe we can go home together." he said

"Yeah, maybe" I said, as we both walked into the studio.
