** A.N.: I still haven't found a perfect guy to play Lucifer, but I will continue my search. I want to say I am in love with this story and I have big plans for it. ^_^ Enjoy your lecture! **
Things got more complicated, if that was even possible. Melissa and I found out later that we had to go to the psychologist of our school. They thought this death of a colleague was being too hard on us. Maybe they got it right with the part that death is ugly, but we weren't crazy or something like that.
"Why do you believe you're here?" The psychologist woman asked.
"Because you and a bunch of people believe I am crazy because someone young died."
"For the last part you are right, but nobody thinks you are crazy. Helen, let me tell you something. When somebody leaves for any reason we suffer. It is a part of us that is taken away. But you need to find the way to deal with it, not run from it."
"But I haven't run anywhere."
"You did, actually. Since his death is recent, you and Melissa went for different activities, only to have always something to do so you wouldn't think of the real problem."
I was starting to get angry. I explained I didn't fancied Josh, I understand it was a difficult situation, but I was going to move on, and yet, this woman asked even more questions. What was the last thing he told me? What did I want to say to him? How could I help Melissa deal with his death? Why wasn't I sad and depressed? Was I hiding my real feelings?
"I can't anymore." I told the doctor. "It is so strange for me. I've never been to therapy in my life and I don't think I need it now. Leonard Lucius Vian." I said without blinking.
"It's enough for today. I am waiting for you on Monday, Helen. Please, come."
She didn't even flinch at the name. She didn't asked why would I say that or anything.
"It's not like I have a choice..." I replied. And yet, the name worked. She had to question me for an hour and only half an hour passed. And after that I met with Melissa. She'd been to this woman an hour before me, well, less than an hour.
"I like her." She told me.
"What? Mel, are you crazy? She wants to exploit you and make you think what she wants you to!"
I guess I am a little paranoid myself. But I don't want to put my life on a table in front of a stranger.
"Hey, you are totally exaggerating. She helped me. Maybe you don't need this, but I do. She explained that I should accept the fact he is gone and try to remember the good memories, the funny ones, get a boyfriend and live my life."
"Hmm, I agree on that. If I told you that you wouldn't have listened to me."
"Probably..." She said with a shy voice. I knew I was right.
"Well, she didn't give me the same advice."
"She only kept you for half an hour?" Mel asked.
"Well, I think I annoyed her. Or she thinks I'm damaged."
"I hope not, because more of this awaits you in that case."
On our way to class I ran into Zach.
"Hi." I happily said.
"Hi. How are you, Helen?"
"Just fine..."
"She's not fine. She just went to the school's psychologist." Mel said.
I looked at her with hatred because I know that was intentional and harsh! Why did she do that in front of this guy? For once I like a normal person! I think she wants to get revenge. I hate girls now... Well, except the crazy Ariana of course.
