After dinner, the man took Lana to a big room, that had a massive desk in the middle and shelves of books on the walls. She sat down in one of the chairs that was in front of the desk and looked around.

"So, Lana. I'm assuming you know where you are at?" He asked sitting behind his desk and she looked down at the book in her hand. "You're Jareth. The Goblin King." She said softly, her head still not wrapped around the situation. "Wait, I didn't even give you my name. H-how did you know?" She asked and he smirked, "Anyone who opens or even touches that book I get an alert. I know your name, who your parents are and how they treat you. No one should be treated like that." The smirk falling from his face and he became serious. "I'm sorry." He said which surprised the teen who sat less then 5 feet from him, she only knew him as the King who was ruthless and heartless. She didn't know that he could show pity.

"Its not your fault. My parents didn't love me, I was unplanned, unwanted. So I thank you for taking me away." She said hugging he book to her chest, "And I thank you for bringing the book with me as well." She said giving him a soft smile, the smile made Jareth happy. He has neve seen a woman, let alone a teen, thank him. "So, how about tonight I take you around the castle and show you my library and at the next full moon we have a ball to celebrate your arrival?" He asked giving her a thoughtful smile and she nodded. "You have a bigger library?" She asked, eyes widen with excitement, he chuckled yet nodded. "Of course. What kind of King would I be if I didn't have a big library?" He stood up and walked around the wooden desk and put his arm out for her to grab, she hesitantly grabbed his arm and they made their way out of the study.

Im sorry that these chapters are so small. Im trying to write more, I do go to the library at school during lunch so Ill work on it.
