It was a typical school day, but it was a new school. No one knew me, knew my name, or knew I even exist. These were the problems I struggled with when it comes to new people and going to a new school.
I don't know anyone here but myself. I heard a few people from my last school were coming but does it really look like I like to see my old middle school friends. I would rather much not want to see them.
These were my thoughts as I stared at the wall while the doing complete opposite of getting ready for school.
6:30 amHoly crap I need to get ready. I grabbed a pair of blue jeans, my supernatural t-shirt, a black converse. Yes a typical teen outfit, I really do not care. Although I do choose very carefully.
---------I walked towards the bus stop and waited. Yes I got here on time just as the bus rolls up. I see a few kids running but I just go on. I walked all the way to the back, but I saw it was occupied so I awkwardly walked three seats ahead.
I saw an empty bus seat which I gladly took. Plus it smelled like plastic. I scooted towards the window and I set my backpack beside me. I stared out the window and saw a couple of trees.
"Uh excuse me?" A deep voiced whispered I also felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned my head and I saw a guy like me.
"Oh hey." I replied while politely removing my backpack in order for him to sit down next to me. "Um thanks, what's your name?" He asked while intently staring at my purple hair.
"My name is uh Hannah. Yours?" I asked while tucking my hair awkwardly behind my ear. "Jack my name is Jack." He introduced while sticking his hand out.
I shook his big soft hand. They were warm yet clammy. "Sorry my hands are wet, I'm sort nervous. Can I see your schedule?" He asked softly while pulling out his schedule.
"Yeah." I responded while pulling mine from my pocket and unfolding it. Jack looked at my schedule while I observed him.
He had blonde hair sticking out from his beanie, a black t-shirt, blue jeans, gray converse, white skin, and deep brown eyes.
"It appears we have every class together. Science, math, English, Geography, History, and lastly Music." He smiled while making eye contact with my hazel eyes with dark brown ones.
"So might as well we stick together because we don't know anyone but each other." He laughed while peeking out in the walkway. "We're almost there." He announced while taking his head back in.
I got bored and pulled a stick of gum from my backpack. "Want some?" I asked politely while grabbing out another stick of minty gum. He nodded slightly and took it.
Our fingers touched. "Thank you dear." He thanked while sticking the gum in his mouth. "Dear?" I asked while furrowing his eyebrows.
"You don't like it?" He asked confused while inching closer. "I do I am just not used to it." I laughed nervously. "Das fine, honey!" He laughed while looking out the window.
"Well we're here, so let's go to hell!" I joked while standing and slinging my bag over my shoulder. I believe this is the start of a new friendship.Audrey doesn't know I wrote this but oh well :/ She won't mind right haha.
