"She's in bed now. Let's go!" I whispered while getting up from my bed and sauntering to my window. I opened the window and motioned Jack to follow me. Luckily he knew what I meant and followed me.
"I'm scared." He muttered while grabbing my hand. "No your fine just follow me." I said while holding his hand so he won't fall.
I led him to a ledge at the back of my house and I sat down slowly in an Indian style. He also sat down in he same position I am currently in.
He scooted closer and closer until our knees were touching. I shivered a bit but I didn't mind the breezy weather. I actually really do like the weather like this. I stared off into the distance into the starry night sky.
I felt a soft warm hand on top of mine and I looked at Jack. He smiled and laced our fingers together. This made my heart pump faster and my stomach tingle with excitement and small little imaginary butterflies that flew around in my stomach.
"Hey stay here. I'm going to get a blanket for the both of us." I stated while unlatching our fingers and walking inside to my bedroom. I grabbed my big fuzzy, warm blanket and wrapped it around me so I can bring it out. Also so that I would fit through the window. I waddled back to our spot and I sat down once again.
We wrapped the blanket around selves and got comfortable with the blanket hanging off our shoulders. He once again grabbed my hand again, which sent shivers down my spine. "Wait Hannah. Can we go inside? It's getting a lot colder than before." He asked while not letting go of my tiny hand. I nodded in agreement. It got a lot colder so we went inside not letting go of each other's hands. I closed the window lead him to my bed that could fit two people.
We sat across each other. Our fingers still latched. "Why did it get cold again?" I asked while looking at the window. It was closed.
"The thermostat is broken cause it was hot a minute ago went we entered your bedroom Hannah." Jack replied while scooting more forward to get closer to me. "Let me go get another blanket." I complained quietly while getting up and removing my hand from his. I went to my brother's old room and grabbed his big fuzzy blanket.
I came back and Jack was still in his same position before I left my room. "We're sleeping together huh?" He asked while I nodded. "It's going to get cold." I replied. I sat in front of him. "Let's go to bed." He suggested while crawling to my side and sitting next to me.
We both put the blankets on top of ourselves and we were under the same big warm blanket. I turned off my lamp on my nightstand and I adjusted my pillow to my comfort. He had began to do the same with his pillow. We both lied down and we faced each other.
