She smiled and hugged me with tears in her eyes holding me tight, I smiled and held her close noticing she didn't feel the same I looked down and smiled tears filling my eyes. I held her stomach softly and kissed it "I'm so happy, I can't express how happy I feel right now." She smiled tears running down her cheeks as I kissed her deeply and her close, I didn't want to let go of her, I didn't want thus moment to end but the mood was put off by a massive screech that shook the ground. "What the hell was that? That's neither Iblis nor Mephiles, what happened while I was gone?" She looked at me with a saddened expression "we lost a lot of friends to a creature named Chaos" I looked at her and asked "well, who's with you right now?" She grabbed my hand and pulled me into the base which was filled with defeated almost expressionless people "what the hell is this?" I ask everyone's heads perk up and they look at me a smile came across Rouge's face as she came up and hugged me "you had us scared, poor Amy would have her little bundle of joy without her little bundle of hate" I smirked and saw Omega sitting against the wall using his last bit of power as a source of heat and light "Omega? The hell? You look like shit"I charged a chaos spear from my last but of chaos energy and jabbed it into Omega's back filling his power to max capacity. His eyes lit up red and he looked up at me "Hello Shadow, I knew the probability of you surviving was high" I smile and nod and look at the sleeping Vector and Espio and walk over to them and sigh softly "I'm sorry" I realized almost immediately Charmy was no longer with us he would've been keeping team Chaotix awake. Tikal came walking in and smiled politely "I'm here to put a stop to Chaos with the help of Shadow here of course" She bowed her head "hopefully my prayers will soothe the god of destruction." I smiled and looked at Amy she smiled back and held my hand all seemed to go according to plan until a different screech called out I stood frozen in shock and ran up to the roof top.

I looked out to the distance and in the fog I could make out the faint orange glow of the flame of disaster "oh shit, oh shit I didn't think he'd make an appearance but if he's here that means Mephiles isn't far behind these three destructive forces each one capable of destroying the world in their own ways, I noticed something strange where Iblis's third eye is supposed to be was Doom's eye instead "fuck! Can this not get any worse?" I heard a laugh behind me "be careful what you wish for it make come true" I looked behind me and noticed my shadow coming off the ground and turning into Mephiles. "I've been following you through your shadow since your little fight with Doom." my eyes were wide with surprise and fear, Mephiles began to hover and laughed "I'm afraid this is the end of the world as you know it Shadow" I growled and he just laughed maniacally, Mephiles flew of saying "enjoy your last minutes Shadow" I stood there frozen in fear and my stomach felt like it was being twisted and I couldn't hold down the vomit coming up my throat anymore. I stood there in disgust and thought of Amy and our unborn child I looked around and sighed "Chaos overdrive" I began absorbing all the chaos energy in the air. A red mist covered me it smeeled foul and was too thick to see through but the amount of power surging through my body was enough to power one hundred power plants, red electricity crackled on my skin and my eyes glowed red my body started to glow through shades of pink and red and I yelled at the top of my lungs "I'm coming for you!" I flew off towards the direction Mephiles went and saw him becoming one with dark Chaos the transformation was terrifying it became the embodiment of darkness it was a big black ball of slime and smoke and sin Iblis headed towards the black mass that was Mephiles and Chaos I flew towards them trying to stop it but I didn't make it in time the ground shook, fire burst out from the fissures that were, the sky turned red and an aura of darkness covered the land. I growled as I watched the transformation of the Devil flame of chaos Doom, I saw the creatures that were just blobs of some sort of element turn into a truly nightmarish being it's immense power radiating off of it giving an overall sense of death Its glowing green eyes looked at me as it screeched it's mouth pouring steam, it spread its wings causing a massive gust ofvwind that began to push me back. I grinned now, this is interesting I began absorbing more Chaos energy my fists crackling with green electricity as the sparks turned to flames my eyes glowing a deep red my body covered in a blood lust aura my arms engulfed in green flames. "Your ass is mine" I growl and smile I flew head on into the creature swinging at full force the creature slid backward against the ground and screeched at me. It shot beams of scalding hot oil misding me as I dodged each shot going in for another strike I hit tge creature in the doon's eye and watched it reel back in pain and screech slamming it's head into my body sending me flying into the ground and it raised its tail and smashed its tail into my body I coughed up blood as it lowered its head and began charging a shot mere inches from my face.
