44 The Talk

Kia POV*

Me and Derek is on the road. We going out of town for the week. I made sure that i went to the market and Derek sent money to Star card. Thats gonna be gone by the time we get back. This the week Calvin should have been at the house.

3 Hours Later*

Darnell POV*

I gotta go to court today jury duty.i dont feel like going but if i dont go then they will lock me up. Im not trynna do that.

Star POV*

Im up and out. Me and DJ going for a walk. I had went inside the store with him. I had got some snacks. It was a line at the counter but i still got in it. While i was waiting , it started pouring down raining. O hell no. I got to the counter and paid for it. I had stood by the door to see if it gonna stop soon. Next thing i saw was lightening. I called my mother and she answered. "Maa are you guys alright?" i asked.

"Yes why?" She said.

"Its a storm"

"Not down here" she said. "You alright?"

"Me and DJ in the store waiting for it to be over" i said. DeAndre had walked in the store. He looked at me and i looked the other way.

"Yall need to get home" my mother said. "Get an uber"

"If it dont stop no time soon then i will" i said.

"Get one now"

"Ok geesh" i said. We hung up. I had got on the uber app.

"Come on" i heard somebody say. I looked up and it was DeAndre standing in front of me"

"What" i said as i looked at him.

"Imma take yall home"

"Im getting an uber"

"Girl if you dont come the fuck on" he said. I couldnt get no uber that was close so fuck it. I will go with this nigga. We had walked out the store and i had put DJ in the back. DeAndre put the stroller im the trunk. I had sat in the back DJ. 1 because he had another girl in the car and 2 i really aint wanna sit up there with him. Barely wanted to get in this car. I had texted my mother.

Me: DeAndre taking us home

Mom: ok

I had got on twitter. I really dont feel like going in the house but i have too. I looked at DJ. He was just looking with his pacifier in his mouth.

DeAndre POV*

Seen Star in the store with my son. So i decided to take them home so that they can make it there safe. I had to go that way anyway to drop the girl London off. This the one i fuck with from the cheerleading team. She had stayed over my house last night. Anyway the way i was coming up Star street , i was gonna pass London house so let me just drop her off first. I pulled up in front of her house. "See you later" she said as she got out. I had pulled up in front of Star house and got out. I had got the stroller out. Its still raining but not that hard. She had went up on the porch and i took the stroller up.

"Thank you" Star said as she unlocked the door.

"Anytime but we need to talk" i said.
