Im sleep and i feel my phone vibrating. Its a strange number that i never seen before. I just answered. "Hello" i said.
"Hello , Mr Derek Rogers?" A female voice asked.
"This is him" i said as i got up and walked out the room so that i wont wake Kia up.
"Hi , this Anna from Saint Thomas Hospital , in calling to let you know that Ashley is in the hospital and they is not expecting her to live"
"Forreal?"
"Yes and we have Marie here"
"Ight , i will be on my way there"
"Ok see you when you get here"
Ight" i said. We hung up. I went back in the room and slipped on something. I got my keys and walked back up the room. I went in the bathroom and brushed and washed my face. I then went downstairs and walked out the door. I got in my car and pulled off. I pulled up at the hospital in like 20 mins. I got out and went inside. I checked in at the desk and they told me where to go. I went to where they told me to go.
"Hey daddy" Marie said as i walked in.
"Hey" i said. She look like she was crying.

Marie POV*
Hey my name is Marie. I'm 13. I'm black an Indian. My mom is currently in the hospital she has really bad cancer an they don't think she's gonna make. I have to go stay with my father and i think its gonna be weird. I dont like his wife. I hope he not with her anymore. Anyway im sad. I need my mother to not go anywhere. I like my father because he get me whatever i want. Im his only child. My mother have 4 children all together. "Is she able to stay with you Derek?" my grandmother asked.
"Yes" my father said. It was like he had to think about it.
"Ok" my grandmother said.
"Can we leave now?" I asked. "I dont wanna be in here no longer"
"Ight lets go" he said. I had walked out with him. We went to his car and got in. "You got clothes?"
"No" i said.
"You got a key to ya house?"
"Yes" i said. We had pulled off. We pulled up at my house in 15 mins. I got out and went inside.
Kia POV* (Star Mom)
I heard my phone ringing. I looked at it and it was Derek. I looked next to me and he was gone. "Hello" i said as i answered the phone.
"Im on my way back to the house but we really need to talk" he said.
