53 WHERE IS HE?

Daddy and Kia came back from they trip this morning. They knocked out. I aint go to school today. Im actually downstairs eating a bowl of cereal. Star out. She went to go get DJ. She got fussed out when they got here because she didnt have DJ since they left. I just noticed that she didnt. And they was gone for like 3 weeks. But she have an attitude and i dont know what time she coming back. Anyway Jabari disappointed because i aint come to school. My apologies. He talking about he bored. Not my fault. I told him to come over later. He said he was gonna come but im kinda scared. What daddy gonna say?

I dont understand why they mad at me. Its not even my fault. Like i been trynna get my son but nooo everybody wanna keep him. Every time i turn around he was with everybody on Dre side of the family. Then Dre tell me that he about to go get him and then he go back with Ms. TaNeisha. I dont get it. I think they didnt get all that. Maybe its because they left he was with her and then they come back and he still with her. They didnt wanna hear no explanation or anything. Anyway I just pulled up at Ms. TaNeisha house. I got out and went to the door. I knocked. She looked out the window. "Hold up" she said. She went back in. I was waiting. It was taking her awhile. Dre had pulled up and got out. Ms. TaNeisha opened the door and let me in. She had DJ in her arms. We spoke.

"Dre right there" i said as i got DJ from her.

"Ok" she said as she looked out the door. "Why you gotta take my grandboy"

"Its time for him to come home with me" i said. I got the carseat and sat down. I looked at Dj and somebody had braided his hair. Dre had came in and he sat next to me.

"Whats wrong with you?" Dre asked me

"Nothing" i said.

"You lying but we can talk about it later" he said. I checked DJ diaper to see if he needed to be changed. He didnt so i put him in the carseat and strapped him in.

"Star when he be standing up against something , he be trynna be grown and walk" Ms. TaNeisha said. As she gave me his diaper bag. "Its time for them hard bottoms and a walker"

"Ok" i said as i got up. Dre got the carseat for me and we walked out the door. He walked me to my car and put DJ in the backseat.

"You gonna tell me whats wrong now?" Dre asked.

"My mother and my father fussed me out because i didnt have DJ the entire time they was out of town"

"That wasnt ya fault"

"Right but they didnt wanna hear what i had to say"

"O damn , what you doing today?"

"I dont know" i said. "I probably stay in the house all day"

"When i leave here imma be over there"

"Yea yea , you been saying that all week and never showed up"

"I know but things be happening and i be forgetting"

"But you dont forget about football or going outside"

"Chill out , i promise im really coming" he said as he point his pinky out. We pinky promised and then he closed the backdoor to my car. "Let me get a hug" we had hugged and i then got in my car. He went back inside his mother house. I pulled off. I was riding and i saw Paris standing on the bus stop. Where this thot going. I pulled over in front of her and put my window down.

"And where is you going?" I asked. She looked in the window and got in.

"Girl i was on my way home from Sean house" Paris said. We pulled off.
