Chapter 2

Mike's POV-
This morning my mom got a call from Joyce asking if Will stayed over here. I almost said 'I wish' but I didn't realizing maybe something happened to him. So I think Nancy's sickness was a 24 hour thing because she's perfectly fine today. "Is it okay if I go to Barb's to study for a test today?" She said "no, not until we know that Will is fine and he maybe stayed at someone else's house, no." My mom said "so I'm under house arrest because of Mike's friend-" "oh so it's Will's fault?!" I cut her off madly "stop it, both of you, your not going anywhere until we know he's safe." My mom said, I was mad at Nancy for basically saying it was Will's fault she can't go to that stupid party with Steve, yeah, she's not going to study with Barb, she's going to Steve's to "hang out" and by that I mean probably have sex. "Have fun sneaking out to go have sex with Steve!" I said madly and got up and stormed to my room. I grabbed my bag and got everything ready and ran back downstairs to hear my mom and Nancy fighting over who Steve is and why she was going to have sex with him. I walked outside and grabbed my bike and ride to school. I put my bike in the bike rack and walked inside. I'm very mad at Nancy, this isn't Will's fault! I went to my locker and put some stuff in and got some stuff out and went to my first period class. Math. I sat down and out my hands in my pockets. I felt something in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw it was a note. I opened it and read it 'Mike, I hope you see this, I wanted to tell you how much I really like you, no love you. You always make my day brighter just being in the same room with you. Your smile, your eyes, you in general is just amazing. I just wanted you to know that you are amazing and I love you so much.-Will' "what's that, secret admirer?" Lucas said since he sat behind me, I folded it up and put it back in my pocket. "No, it was note someone gave to me yesterday." I said "whatever." He said 'I love you to' I thought with a half smile. The teacher started the lesson but I could think of was the note, I love Will, he's so sweet.
(Time skip to 2 days later)
There's a search party out for Will, Hopper said I couldn't help though, I mean, just because I'm your son doesn't mean you can forbid me from trying to look for my friend/boyfriend. Wait, did I say son? Crap. Now I have to explain. Well there's not that much to say other than that Hopper is my dad, not stepdad, dad. So yeah, when I say dad I'm talking about Hopper, nobody knows about him being my dad, because either he's always at work when the boys come over, or he's asleep when they come over. And nobody at school knows about it. I'm just gonna beg him to let me help when I get home, usually he gets annoyed and says yes so I'll stop. Also, that note, it hasn't left my pockets since I found it. "Attention students, we are be having an assembly today for Will Byers, and we wanted to tell you that it is time for that, so come to the gym so we can start." The speaker said, we all got up and went to the gym. Me, Lucas, and Dustin all sat by each other. When they started I heard laughing. I looked over and saw Troy and James mocking and laughing at what the principle was saying. I rolled my eyes and looked back at the principle, even though I was furious. When the assembly was over, I was still furious. We were all walking out of the gym when I said "hey Troy!" Him and James turned around "this isn't funny!" I said "people grieve in different ways." Troy said and started walking away, I went up to him and pushed him down on the ground, I was furious as I said. I stood back and he stood up and said "your dead Wheeler!" He started running towards me and then he stopped dead in his tracks. What? Then I saw his pants grow wet, he peed himself. What? How what this happening? I turned around and saw Lucas and Dustin staring at a little girl in shock, and I was in shock to. "W-who are you?" I said and she pulled up her sleeve to reveal I tattoo that said '011'. Troy and James ran away and now it was only me, Lucas, Dustin, and this little girl who is apparently named Eleven. "I'm Lucas." Lucas said "I'm Dustin." Dustin said "I'm Mike, short for Michael, maybe we can call you El, short for Eleven?" I was, with confidence I never knew I had, she nodded. "Do you have a place to stay?" Lucas said an she shook her head "maybe you can stay at my house, if I tell my parents to not call anyone since you seem afraid we'll do that, and maybe you can stay with me." He said and she nodded, okay, it's official, Lucas likes this girl. We were all just staring at each other when the guy door slammed open. Our heads snapped over to the door, I saw dad standing there. "Mike......I......found him." He said out of breath, my eyes widened "w-what? You d-did?" I said trying to contain my excitement and tears of joy that wanted to fall. He nodded, I felt a couple years run down my cheeks, they found Will. "W-where is he?" I asked "I'll tell you when everyone's not here, because I have a plan, that only he can know, don't bug him about it." He said pointing to everyone, he stopped when he reached Eleven. "Who are you?" He said "Eleven." She said quietly "but we call her El, she saved me from Troy a couple minutes ago." I said "what did he do?" He said "well it was kinda my fault, he was laughing while they talked about Will, and before he left I pushed him down and he was about to punch me but she saved me." I said not telling him how, or that she made Troy pee his pants. "Great, now, I'm picking you up, and I'm going to talk to you about this, again, nobody bug him about telling you the plan, it's only for him to hear." He said and everyone nodded and I walked over to him, by now my tears stopped falling. "El, maybe you can help." Dad said and she slowly walked over "how can I help?" She said "I know what they did, I know what you can do, maybe you can help with the plan." He said and El looked up and said "how do you know what they did?" "Same way I found out where Will is, I went, I saw what they did to the other kids." He said and she looked ball at the ground, we all left Lucas and Dustin to do their own thing. Dad took us to the station, and to his office. "You know I don't like being here." I said when we walked in "do you wanna know where he is or not?" He said and I didn't respond, we walked in his office and sat down. "He's not here is all I'm saying, he somewhere else, in a different place, almost like a whole new world, but it has all the same things as here, but it's darker, scarier, and Will is there." He said "cool description, what is it called and what is your plan?" I said "it's called the upside down, and my plan is that she can use her powers to kill the monster-" "but that'll kill me." She cut him off "it won't kill you, it'll send you to the upside down, but with no monster, and you can be safe without worrying about the monster." He said and she nodded "and then me and you can go in the portal to the upside down, and look for Will." He said "let's do this."

(Stupid chapter, but I need to get Will back, I need him back so I can make it more interesting, bye!)
