and there she was again. walking in the corridors. alone. there was something about that. she always was alone, even if she was with her boyfriend. she always felt, alone. so out of place. she made it to the end of the hall where she made a turn, and seeing the one person that she always craved to see. leaning against the wall, wearing black skinny jeans and a white tee, smoking a cigarette. he knew she hated it when he smoked, but he didnt care. you couldn't stop him, no one could. "nice hair..." calum muttered as she walked closer to him. "thank you," she continued, "I got it done yesterday." She had gotten it done, going a darker blonde. she wanted a change in hopes that she would catch other's attention. "i like it...it looks nice on you." he spoke softly as he tucked a piece of the newly died hair behind her ear. She stared up at him.
there was something about calum that ella had always noticed. his eyes. most people would state something cliche about his eyes. something out of a movie. they were chocolate brown, glowing in the sunlight and puppy like in the dark. ella did come to the conclusion that these statements were true, until she had came across one important character in calum's eyes. sadness. she always wondered why they looked so depressed and sorrowful. but calum did well to cover up the look in his eyes by his image. his bad guy image. the reason as to why ella had fallen for such a guy. she adored that he had no innocence as for she had every bit of it. She had always told her friend so casually, "I don't like them innocent." so they had always warned her. yet, she was falling for a guy that was completely the opposite of what she needed.
calum knew what he was up to. he didn't quite know why he was with ella. if it was her hazel eyes or all the hotness she had, he didn't know. he did know that she was falling. and hard. he couldn't catch her. he wouldn't catch her. calum didn't like ella's new hair. he never liked change not matter what it may be. but he told white lies anyway so he wouldn't have to see her crumble in front of him. he's seen that too many times.
"are you coming by my place tonight?" ella asked, wrapping her arms around calum's neck, slightly swaying them back and forth. "maybe, i'm not sure, i have some things to finish up." he stated flatly, not bothering to put his arms around her waist. "oh ok." she sighed.
she leaned up to kiss him. her figure being 5'10, she didn't need to put much effort. this kiss was soft though a lot more powerful than the last timed they kissed. calum had finally wrapped his arm around her, bringing ella closer into him. her hands had reached up to touch his hair, where she had received a slight moan from calum. a wake up call to pull away. he swiftly pulled away from the kiss taking a step back. "i have to go." he said blatantly, turning away, taking long strides as he went.
leaving her alone in the corridor.
