My name is Kaylie Addams, I am 16 years old, I am tall, almost 5'1o", I have long, long brown hair, my eyes change color; but are most always hazel, and my face is normally covered with pimples. I am not the prettiest girl in the school by far, and I don't think I want to be. The only thing is, and every girl knows this - you have to look good for a guy to like you. Well, I guess that's not true, but it sure does help. I have no luck with guys... zero boyfriends... The closest's I got to having a boyfriend, my brother was trying to set me up with this one guy, long story short, it didn't work out to well. He didn't want to date me, even though he said he was "attracted" to me. Well enough of me dragging on about how worthless I am, I just had to put that out there.

"Kaylie!" My friend yelled at me from down the hallway, I looked at her and waved; smiling widely. I was standing at the far end of the main hallway in the school, next to all the lockers, waiting for the first bell to ring.

"Alexandria!" I yelled back and she gave me a dirty look.

"I don't like being called that, and you know it!" I laughed opening up my locker to grab my stuff.

"I am sorry... ALEX." I said rolling my eyes, she nodded her head in approval. Alex came three years ago, and I forced her to become my friend, sure that sounds mean, but that day, we had the best day of our lives. She doesn't hold any resentment for me doing that, and I kinda exaggerated the 'forced' part. I did force her to come sit by me the first day though, so I guess that counts.

"That's better! Have you seen Sammy? - I want to see if I have any classes with her this year." Alex said speaking of our other friend Sammy, who was quite possibly the smartest person in the school next to the teachers. No joke there. A+'s on everything, and I mean everything. Last year, she took Honors Biology, and had A's on every test, every project... just everything. She was a great friend to have during finals. We were the three amigo's, Rufas, Dufas, and Pufas, or so my dad called us. Alexandria had short brown hair, in a shaggy guy's type of hair style, she wore a light grey t-shirt with bluejeans, and white sneakers.

"I'm right here guys!" Sammy said, and I turned around to face my other best friend. She wore a light brown shirt with a silver necklace, skinny jeans and a pare of shoes.

"Sammy!" Alex yelled, pretending to be scared, hid behind me; then pretended to faint against the lockers. I laughed looking back at her, then back to Sammy, who looked very heartbroken.

"What did I ever do to you?" she asked sarcastically, and I pretended to think about it until Sammy lightly punched my arm. "Come on! Really?" she asked looking even more hurt.

"Hey what can I say?" I said smiling. We all laughed and grabbed our stuff before heading to first hour, which, coincidentally, we all had together. It was science, one of my least favorite classes ever, and we haven't had the class yet. I could just tell that it would be a hard one, and I didn't like the teacher who taught it, so.... Yeah.... The classroom wasn't full yet, only a few people sat around the lab tables talking about there summers or what they were going to do this next weekend. I even overheard that there was going to be a party, this early in the year, my goodness!

One of the people talking about the upcoming party was Tucker John, the school jock and overall popular man of our class. He wore a simple maroon v-neck t-shirt, and blue jeans. He was sitting on one of the tables, surrounded by the "popular" group, they were all laughing and messing around together, so Sammy, Alex and I walked to the far end of the classroom and sat down. "Gosh, it seems like this year will be no different than any of the others." Sammy said watching the loud group. I laughed rolling my eyes.
