Lunch! Yay! I raced down the stairs onto the main floor, hoping I would see Sammy or Alex on my way, but sadly not. My third and fourth hour I have alone, no friends what so ever... yeah, it sucks. I have art fourth hour, and I can already tell, it will be one of my favorite classes. The teacher is Mrs. Kraft.... Yeah, I know. How awesome is that!? Anyway, I have that class with a bunch of the plastics, and some seniors. Third hour, I have like no one I know, so it is kinda nice to be with my class, though sad because it is with the plastics. They weren't even listening to the teacher the entire time! and it was getting on my nerves. But I pushed those thoughts aside as I entered the lunch line, hoping still that my friends were close by.

"Kaylie!" I herd Sammy yell from behind me. I turned to see both Sammy and Alex walking towards me.

"Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo! What time is is?" I yelled back, striking an awkward pose; my hand on my knee, my butt out, a cheeky smile on my face.

"Show time!" Alex yelled back pointing two fingers at me.

"Show time, show time! What?!" I yelled again as they finally caught up to me. "So, how was your two other classes?" I asked, Sammy smiled and turned to Alex.

"The teacher H.A.T.E.S. ME, like HATES!" she complained leaning on Sammy, who gave a look of disgust and pushed her head off her.

I'll have the love story and everything, but it's just little excerpts so I don't get bored while writing lol. Anyway comment what you think!

______

Tucker's POV:

I came to school expecting this year to be like any of the others. All my friends want to go out and party and drink. I have no objections to having a party - or even drinking; I've been drunk multiple times before, but that old routine just gets boring. "So are we having a party at Lexy's?" Theo asked, one of my best friends - he was one of the people who were there for me when my Father died, and for that I'll always be grateful.

"I guess; but we always have party's at her place; it's getting old." I added to the conversation; in all reality though, I didn't want to go to another stupid party with the same stupid people I already knew.

"Well, where else would we have the parties? Her sister can get all the beer." Tyrone added laughing.

"True." I said leaning against the table. And thats when I saw her. Kaylie. She came in the fifth grade, and she had always been one of the less popular kids in the class. Yet her beauty could have easily given her a place in my group of friends. She was different - always happy, always seeing the best in people. And she didn't flaunt her beauty; which was strange sense she looked like a goddess. Even in a sweatshirt and blue jeans.

"So where do you think we should have the party then?" Lacy asked leaning on Theo.

"What about the lake house?" I suggested, but I wasn't really paying attention to the conversation. Kaylie was talking with her friends Sammy and Alexandria, not even looking at us.

"Totally!"Lacy exclaimed "This Friday. Theo, you're coming with me." She ordered and I rolled my eyes. The teacher walked into the room as the bell rang, and gave us assigned seats. I sat across from Alexandria, next to Theo. Her and Kaylie kept 'talking' with each other. I looked back and forth between the two, leaning back in my chair.

"Am I coming in between something?" I asked sarcastically. Stupid! Why did I say something? I didn't have time to think it over when she sighed dramatically.

"I would say no, but that would be a lie. Sorry Tucker, you would never get it." Kaylie replied, her sarcasm equal to mine. Gosh, she was flirting with me, or am I reading into this too far?

"Well fine." I said turning back to Theo - stupid! -stupid! - stupid! Why can't I talk to her? I started up a conversation with Theo before the teacher called the class to order.
