The blue haired boy sat as attentively as he could in his seat, squirming to get home knowing he still had at least half an hour of school left. He squinted his eyes forward in a bored fashion, on the bright side today's lesson wasn't so boring. Meanwhile his two other friends gave him a knowing look before looking back towards the front, listening to the teacher drone on.
"Now as some of you already know Nishati manifests itself in five ways. We have Fire, earth, lightning, wind and water. These four can be trained and become more powerful, individually of course depending on what, if you get a form, what kind you get. Now a few basics everyone should know. Each Nishati is either dark or light, depending on what takes up a person's 'soul'. Light Nishati is governed by our goddess Aurora. Dark Nishati is controlled by the god Drexell. As gods they can, to put it one way, lead a person to either dark or light governing inside." She pasued glancing at the clock, taking a breath before continuing. "Now, at the age you all are nearing, your body will feel fatigued, your eyes will flash a different color as you approach your power awakening. When it is settled your eyes will no longer be its former color, but will have the color of your matching abilities. These colors are usually blue, green, purple, pink, and gray. Rarely your eyes may stay the same as before but again, rarely. Too wrap things up today, do not be afraid when your Nishati starts to awaken, be happy. It may be frightening but it's a nice experience. Tomorrow we'll talk about of our governments if the weather allows it. Get home safe kiddos."
At her last word the blue haired boy sprinted out of class to the outside, breathing in the fresh air and stretching. "Jiro you know you could at least wait for us or say something before sprinting out of class like Drexell himself was chasing you." Said a raven haired girl as she slapped his shoulder lightly. A green eyed boy followed suit, snacking his other shoulder. "You know, for once Azure does have a point." The boy laughed removing his hand from Jiro's shoulder. "For once? What do you mean for once!?" Azure squinted her eyes at the green eyed boy making him back off a bit. "Alastair one of these days you'll get what's coming to you. Just you wait " she threatened playfully as Jiro started walking off without them.
"What's the rush? Thought we where hitting up the cafe today?" Said Alastair falling in step with him as did Azure. "You're not ditching are you?"
"You forgot didn't you? I should've known you would forget. Chōnan is coming back today. Farzaneh told us the other day brick head." Azure responds rolling her eyes and smacking Alastair's head. "Come on you gotta remember the important stuff you know."
Jiro laughed at his friends as they walked towards his house now a warm breeze ruffling their hair lightly. "It has been months since he left. I do hope he stays a little longer this time... It gets rather lonely with only Farzaneh at home. I wonder what stories he'll have for us this time!" He says walking faster, his friends keeping up the pace.
"I'm sure he will don't sweat it. It's about time he came back, this is the longest he's been gone. He can't just leave you alone each time." Azure says a bit of concern showing in her voice. "He has to take care of his little brother."
"Hey. I'm not little! I'm already taller than you, or have you forgotten?" Jiro laughs again flicking Azure on her forehead and she smacks his hand away.
"Whatever you two, we all know I'm the tallest of the three." Alastair says throwing an arm around the two. "Now carry your leader all the way to Jiro's!" He exclaims as he let's his weight rest on the two. Jiro and Azure smirk at each other, both moving away from under Alastair, letting his weight crash down to the dusty road. He groans having landed on his face then gets up dusting himself off. "Come in that was uncalled for! I just got this jacket!" Jiro and Azure where laughing as soon as his face had hit the dirt, and now they continued laughing among themselves. Alastair couldn't help but start laughing along, "Haha, alright whoever I catch first gets thrown in the lake later." He suddenly turns serious as Azure and jiro take of running down the street, laughing and yelling to Alastair to catch them if he could.
