Getting There

Tomorrow would be the last taping day for their new project together which is a weekly show that would run for a month. Taped on location somewhere up north, he was wondering if they can take a short break together in a nearby province right after their shoot tomorrow.

(Papayagan kaya siya ni Tita? Try ko kaya ipagpaalam? Kung di siya payagan eh di ako na lang. But overnight lang naman. Haay. Sige na nga tawagan ko si Tita, better to try my luck para no regrets.)

"Hello Tita, good evening po."

"Oh Moe, napatawag ka? You need to speak with Jea?"

"Ah hindi po Tita, kayo po sana ang gusto ko makausap. Is this a good time po?"

"Ok lang naman. May problema ba 'nak?"

"No Tita, wala naman pong problema. Gusto ko lang po sana ipagpaalam si Jea. Hindi ko pa po siya nakakausap coz kayo po muna sana ang gusto ko kausapin about this."

"Kinakabahan naman ako sayo Moe."

"Sorry Tita, I didn't mean to make you worry. Gusto ko po sana pumunta jan to do this personally but I kind of want Jea to be surprised in case pumayag kayo."

"Ano na nga ba iyon Moe?"

"Tita, tomorrow after our taping sa Pampanga, can Jea and I go straight on a short vacation, overnight lang po sa Subic?"

"Kayong dalawa lang?"

"Kung ok lang po sana sa inyo, Tita. I promise, I'll get us separate rooms and wala po kayong dapat alalahanin coz I respect you so much and lalo na po si Jea. Aalagaan ko po siya. I just want to be able to spend some quality time with her na mas matagal and beyond work. But in case po hindi kayo papayag, I would understand po."

"Wednesday tomorrow. For sure halos Thursday wee hours na kayo matatapos. Would you and Jea be back by Friday night?"

(Yeeeeessss! Mukang papayag si Tita)
"Yes Tita, I'll make sure Jea is home by Friday evening."

"Does your mom know about this already?"

"Magpapaalam pa lang din po ako. Inuna ko lang po muna talaga kayo."

"Hmmm. Ok Moe. Sige. This is the first time I would allow Jea to do this. But that's just because I really trust you and I appreciate na nagpapaalam ka sa akin. Tanungin mo na muna din si Jea if gusto niya sumama sa iyo. If she does, ok na sa akin."

"Yes! Thank you po talaga Tita, thank you. And I promise, hindi ko po pababayaan si Jea and hindi ko po sisirain yung trust niyo."

"And magpaalam ka sa mommy mo ok? Give us the details of the resort complete with rooms booked."

"Yes, Tita. I will."
