"Ok . have you talked to Bridgette lately?" Chris asked . He was trying to change the subject.

But you're probably wondering who Bridgette is so let me fill you in ! Bridgette is 1/4 of Chris and i best friends. It was Bri and I then it was Chris and Lamar. All of us were so close! It was a while before we caught up... Well Bri and I. We just caught up last month ! When she hmu (hit me up) on Facebook. Asking me did I want to catch up a bit at the mall ! So we did and i realized how much i really did miss her. Lamar and her tried to hit it off ( go out) but it didn't work out they had too many differences from what she told me. Bridgette also has a little one , Katelyn and she's so adorable. Bri is a pediatrician that gets $125 an hour !! She has multiple degrees in the medical field so her bosses gave her a raise because hey , that's impressive! All those degrees payed off in another way too! Being that she had them she became the bosses "pet" so she got payed everyday and also had a choice of how long she worked!! So actually Bri was doing great - you could even say she was living it up! I'm proud of her ! During school when people asked what she wanted to be when she grew up these same exact words rolled off her tongue and flew right out her mouth !

"i want to be a hardworking pediatrician and have multiple degrees in the medical field . So i can be very advanced and educated. Only because it would help me figure out whats wrong with the patients almost as soon as possible! "

So that's what she did.. She stuck to her word , that's why i am so proud of her .

"Babe did you hear me?" Chris spoke lightly. Quickly snatching me out of my thoughts.

"Oh yea...yea uhm I haven't talked to her in a couple of days since she told me she was going on vacation for a breather. "

"Really why?" Chris spoke back.

"Bri and Katelyn's dad haven't been on the same page and he's trying to gain full custody of Katelyn and its tearing her apart.."

"Aw man. I thought he loved and missed bri . Why would he do sum like that ?" Chris asked sounding confused.

"Idk babe that's what i thought. I'm just as confused as you are!"

"I hope shes gonna be alright!"

"I hope so too..... I hope so too."

"When was she leaving ?" Chris asked.

"She was suppose to leave 2 days ago. I told her to call me when she got there so ill know she made it there safe. She never did call me tho.."

"Oh check your phone and see . maybe you were busy and didn't see it" suggested Chris.

I nodded and checked my phone twice and a extra time to be exact. Then i locked my iphone and sat it face down.

" Nope."

"Well she probably forgot . call her and see "

"Ight"

So i did just as Chris said . call her. i picked my iPhone 5 up , slid my finger across the screen, and entered my 4 digit code. i went to my contacts and scrolled down until i found the words: "🎀 Bri (My Diary) 🔐🎀" and tapped it.

"Wtf..!" i said as the phone went straight to voicemail after 1 ring.

"Try again'."

I tried again and the same thing happened.
