She was one of the few high school kids that had sex too early and had gotten pregnant. And though she would not trade anything in the world for her daughter, she was a major voice at her school on being aware that abortion was an option. It is an option that is often overlooked; not everyone could handle the thought of giving away their baby, not everyone had the means of supporting a baby, not everyone was in a state of health that could carry and birth a baby. And it was a decision only for the mother and father of the unborn child, not an old man who did not understand their situation.
