Chapter 8

I woke up a little frightened, forgetting that Adam stayed over last night. I could barely move because of his grasp around me, but I managed to reach my arms far enough to get my phone. I checked Twitter, nothing new or really important. It was approaching 7:00 so I tried to wake up Adam, "Adam, work, lets go. We don't want to be late." I whispered. "I run that office, 5 more minutes." He groaned. I rolled my eyes and got up, going into the kitchen.

I heard the doorbell ring while I was in the shower. 'Who in the hell would be here at 7:30 in the morning?' I thought as I turned the water off. I got on my clothes and walked out, "Hey babe," A familiar voice said. I looked up from my phone and immediately dropped it. "Get the fuck out of my house." I said calmly. Adam on the other hand punched him dead in throat and sat on top of him, "Y/n call the police." He said. I did as told and walked into my room. 

After calling I walked out to Adam playing on his phone still sitting on Brett, and Brett struggling to get free. "They should be here any minute." I smiled. "Teaches you not to mess with my girlfriend." Adam gritted his teeth. There was a knock, I opened it. "We got a call about a disturbance and trespassing?" The officer said. "Yes, right this way." I smiled again, 'He deserves this greatly.' I thought, looking at my arms where the cuts were. They took him out of the house and left. Adam put his arm around me and kissed my head, "I won't let this happen again." He whispered. "I love you." I said wrapping my arms around his waist. "I love you too."
