Chapter 3

"Get your ass up!" I woke up to someone hitting me with a pillow

"I swear I feel like using this pillow to suffocate you."

"And good morning to you Tein I just love your wake up calls" I mumbled. I sat up and did the usual: yawn, stretch, groan and fall back on the bed.

"I think I just died" she said while fake gagging " that thing that you call a mouth, I think something died in there" 

"Shut up" I mumbled while I made my way to the bathroom

"Make me"

"Ok" I said then blew my breath in face. She almost fainted.

"Ohmigod I'll behave just let me live. I'll do anything just go clean that poisonous vile please" she begged.

I smirked and continued to the bathroom.

"Hey Zoe hurry please. We don't want to be late" I groaned.

"Yes mother hen I'll be quick" I heard her chuckled

I did my hygienic duties and grabbed my off white robe and tied the sash as I exited the bathroom.

"Took you long enough. I was beginning to think that you had an accident in there."

"I wasn't in there that long" I walked over to my desk and sat. " please come and do my makeup, I haven't got the hang of it as yet".

She came over to me and curled my hair first then gabbed me with brushes. When she was finished she went and picked out another white crop top, a pair of high waist ripped jeans and a pair of white adidas sneakers. I then grabbed a pair of white lacy underwear and got dressed in the bathroom. I looked at my reflection. She left my hair in loose waves and kept my makeup light and natural with a nude lipstick.

"Come on" I said as I grabbed my book bag and headed downstairs.

"We are going to stop at a cafe for coffee and muffins. You cool with that?" She nodded her head.

"Zoe" she called. "I think that you should drive"

"Sure gimme your keys"

"I mean you should drive your car"

"No"

"Come on you had a total makeover why not go all out. Do it for me please?" She begged.

I have tried to keep my mind off of the Monique and Jackson situation all weekend and Tein have been a big help. This is the least I can do for her.

"Fine" I sighed " but be careful and try not to scratch my baby".

My baby is a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro that was given to me by my grandfather just before he passed. I have never really driven it only to the mechanic to make sure that she stays in perfect condition.

She squealed and grabbed my keys and made her way to the garage through the kitchen.

I opened the garage and reversed out, waited till the door closed then we were on our way. I stopped at a coffee shop that was on our way to school. Tein made the coffee run.

"Here you go, milk and sugar just how like it and blueberry muffins" I greedily grabbed mine and took a sip. 
"You finished making love to your coffee as yet? We need to get to school" I giggled and placed my beloved beverage in the cup holder.

"You ready?" She asked glancing at me. I shrugged. We drove the rest of the way to school in silence.

As I was about to turn in a parking spot Tein grabbed my hand "I have an idea" I groaned. Tein and her endless list of ideas. "Zoe I want you blast your horn."

"What? Are you crazy? People will see me!"

"That's the idea"

"Oh hell nah!"

"If you don't I'll honk your horn for 5 minutes straight"

"Ok fine. I hate you"

"Aww I love you too"

I did as she suggested and blared my horn. More than a few heads turned my way.  I just wanted to disappear.  Tein was the first one to get out of the car she rolled her eyes when she realized I haven't moved.

"Come on you will be late for class"

I closed my eyes and counted to ten grabbed my book bag n got out. I made sure to lock the car and then grabbed T in a death grip. 

"Aye yo Tein who is the new girl?" A jock shouted across the parking lot.

"Don't act like you don't remember my girl Zoe."

We were standing in front of him now. "Damn! Yo home girl you clean up good. Couple of us are going to the beach on Friday wanna come?" 

"Uh, sure." I muttered.

"I'm Matt by the way. Oh and Tein you are welcome to join also"

"Gee thanks Matt" she said sarcastically. "Come on the bell will ring soon"  she grabbed my hand and we went to our lockers. "What class do you have now?"

"Uh, I have math now with Mr Knight."

"I have anatomy so I will see you at lunch, k?"

I made my way to class. Because of the nerd I am I sat at the front. The bell rang and the students started to come in. I felt eyes on me I felt so nervous. I hung my head and started look at my nails. I heard whispering. "Who is the new girl? She looks like Zoe. Dang that girl is hot"

The teacher came in and told us to settle down.

I was dying for lunch period to come.  I was so hungry. I went to the lunch line. It was after I paid for my lunch and was about to make my way to sit Monique I remembered. I stood there frozen looking over at the table where we usually sit. Monique and Jackson were there swapping spit. I was about to leave when I heard Tein calling my name. I slowly made my way over to her table.

"Guys this is Zoe my home girl"  she introduced me to everyone. There was Matt from earlier, Jason,  Lushane, Miranda and Jackie.

"Hi" I said. I wish I wasn't so shy at times.

"Whoa, sorry I'm late, who is the babe?" I looked up to see a pair of grey green eyes staring at me.

"Hi, I'm Zoe" I managed to get out.

"You are hot" he said sitting at the table.

"Hey you're drooling" Miranda said poking the grey green eyed god.

"Aww he is smitten" she giggled.

I suddenly found my food very interesting. Every one around me started talking while I slowly ate my food.

"Hey, you ok?" It was Tein who asked.

"Yea, why?"

"Well the bell rang and you are still sitting here"

"I didn't hear it." I grabbed my book bag and looked at Tein.

"Look baby girl it will be ok" I smiled and she hugged me.

"I see you at P.E." she said while blowing me a kiss.

A/N: this is a filler chapter. I honestly don't feel like writing but I want the get this book done or at least half way there. Excuse my mistakes. Please vote, comment and share my story ;-)
