Leaving
==========
How do you wake up from a nightmare like this? Simple. You just don't. Lalo na't nagaganap siya habang gising ka. All I could think about was how to escape from the arms of the person that were holding me in place. There's a chemical on the hanky that was used to pacify me which was the reason why my panic tripled. Hindi lang biro ito.
I focused and resisted the best that I could. I guess it was a success because the person behind me was surprised with my sudden jolt. Run. Forward. And I did.
Had I known that my hair would give me a disadvantage on a time like this, I would've just opted for a pixie cut. The sudden pull made me lean backwards, falling on my bum. I heard a little thud and that's when I knew that my said finally said goodbye. And if I wouldn't be able to fight, I would just accept my final fate.
Rustling sounds from a bush nearby made me collect my thoughts once more as the person behind me made me stand up again. It's as if the heavens were telling me to. Hold on to your dear life. It's not the end for you just yet! Imagine my relief when I saw Toby, I was pretty sure that it was him cause the moonlight's not making it difficult to hide his red hair. He stared at me with enlarged eyes, finally grasping the situation I was in.
Yes, Toby. I'm in danger. Help. Now.
I was slowly losing consciousness. Not again. Huwag! Parang awa niyo na! Kahit sino!
And then there was light. The whole house was lit and the twins saw me. They started screaming while pointing towards my direction. Silhouettes were the only things I could visualize by then and the last words I heard before everything went black was, "Hands off! Gae saekiya!"

Mumbling. Those were the noises I woke up to. Ang daming bubuyog."Hi." I uttered without much energy. Surprisingly, they were able to hear my greeting at mabilis nila akong pinalibutan.
Ang kambal parang maiiyak na hindi ko malaan. Yung iba naman parang kailanga na mag number two sa banyo. "Ate." Sachi whined.
"Oh? I'm not dead yet. I'm fine. See?" I tried kidding to relieve the tension. Masyado kasing mabigat sa pakiramdam.
"Don't joke when it's your life we're talking about here, damn it." He grunted before walking out. The rest of them sighed.
"Can we have a moment, please?" I asked them to leave me and the twins first. It was a good thing that they understood.
