Chapter 4

Dakota's P.O.V
I walked around Kenzie's room and realized that Ary was still in bed I giggled and put Todd in one of the hammocks. I went to the bathroom and grabbed a bucket and filled it with cold water giggling. I walked back to the room and looked at her. I smacked and poured the water on her yelling " MORNING BATSIY" I laughed as her shot up falling of the hammock. " aww is the poor vampire angry" I mocked.
She scowled at me and her arms lit up with fire. I looked her and smiled and shifted to my wolf form. Running in circles around her and ran out the door with her running after me. I howled as I ran into the kitchen skidding to a halt looking at the person my tail dropped behind me and I backed up growling at the man. " got y-" Ary ran in and saw the man and grabbed me by the collar right before I could kill him.

I woke up in that same bedroom I never wanted to see in ' the lab'. I looked at the small boy sitting next to me bandaged. "Cas ?" The boy looked at me with tear filled eyes." They hurt me Alice I didn't do anything!". I stood looking at the boy. I heard the foot falls of a person. I readied myself to protect the boy. The scientist that does the main test came
in and looked at me. They smiled evilly at me and said a word I had forgotten about. "Tract" then smiled evilly at me as I stilled. He picked up the boy and left not locking the door. Several minutes go by and I snap it of it. I went to the door and tested it to find it unlocked. I push it open and run to the sound of a boy screaming in pain. I find the source to find Cas on a table with the men poking him with needles. I growled knowing what was happening as the same happens to me. I shift into wolf form with pain. "Alice no." Was all he said and passed out. I growl at the men and start to run to Cas. I grab him and run. I ran for miles in wolf form a small boy hanging for dear life On to my fur. I found a angel I though they were fake she looks at me. Her eyes widen grabbing Cas and teleport us to a huge house. She healed him and after a few nights something happens that I never wished on him. They turned him into a hybrid. I bowed my head in defeat. The angel I soon found out was a hybrid of a wolf like me. A fox a demon and a angel. And her name was Kenzie. She renamed us to Dakota and Todd.
Flashback over
I struggled with Ary as she looks at the man " who are you?" She asks. " hello Alice." Was all he said as Ary looks at me in confusion. " if your here where's Cas? Your sweet little Cas?" I snap at him in response. " my name is Dr. Morrison I'm here to take back my hybrids Alice and Cas." Ary looks at him. " Kenzie!" Was all she said as Kenzie teleports in to the room.
