Chapter 6

Anna's p.o.v
I finally get Kenzie to her room. I pick her up being careful of her wings. As I place her down her twisted horn catches the fabric of her hammock getting her head stuck. I place the rest of her body on the hammock and work the horn out of the fabric. I sigh and walk out of her room and pull out my phone. I unlock the phone and find the name 'jax'. I look up going to the living room and sit starting to text him. Soon I invite him over and 10 minutes later a knock on the door pulls my attention away from my phone. I get up to answer the door but Dakota beats me to it. I cringe in my head as I hear the two start to growl. "Dakota go take care of Todd" I say as I get to the front door. She looks at me and looks back at the other werewolf growling a little as she disappeared into the house. "Hey jax" I say after making sure Dakota was gone. "Hey" was all he said as he stepped into the house. He follows me as we go inside to sit and talk.
Fawn's p.o.v
I lay in my forest designed room drawing. I soon hear a knock at the door and hear Dakota go to answer it. When I hear Dakota gone I go to her room and sit with Todd. " h-hey todd." I say starting conversation. He didn't respond. He had this dead stare looking at the wall not registering that I was talking to him. I hand him a drawing of me and him watching a sunset and being happy as I hear Dakota coming closer. I forgot to listen for her. I start to panic when the door opens. I look at her and start to shake as the unhappy wolf came closer. "What are you doing in here?" She asked more softly then I expected. "I-I-I just wanted to make sure t-t-Todd was ok." I said quickly panic starting to get worse. She looked at the still fox " why are you so afraid of me?" She questioned. " b-b-because wolves d-don't like d-deer." I respond avoiding eye contact. " do I look like a normal wolf you you fawn?" She questioned using her power to turn her arm into a tree branch and I smile At her. She changes it back and looks at the ground. I blush a little "I-I-I should be going now!" I say sprinting out the room. Scolding myself I get back to my room only to hear jax.
I question if this is a good idea and slowly go down the stairs. I find where the two on a couch talking. Jax stops talking sniffing the air a little. He looks at me as I back up. "S-s-sorry!!!" I say as he comes closer. My antler hits the wall as my legs are shaking. He was still coming closer.
