Chapter 2

Later that night I went to lie down but I heard a loud thud, so I ran down stairs. I was in the living room when I heard a loud noise, from outside. I was shaky, but I opened the front door anyway. It was cool outside, enough to see my breath. I stepped off the front porch, and the noise sounded again, but behind me. I jumped to turn around, there was nothing there. I started to breath heavily, I thought I felt someone touch my arm. I was right. I looked to my side, there was a boy standing there. I started to shake. The boy looked at me and said "The names Louis." My eyes widened, then I took off running as fast as I could go into the woods. I ran past tree after tree, trying to miss all of the branches. "Don't look back, just run!" I told myself. It was so dark, I heard someone running behind me. No, more than someone, there were at least two. I felt one of them graze my back with their hand. "COME ON HARRY, YOU ALMOST HAD HER!!!" I heard someone shout. Then I tripped, damn it! I turned around as fast as I could when I hit the ground, so I could at least see if I recognized them. Then I saw someone coming at me, with wings??! Black wings? Before I could blink he was on top of me. He pinned my hands behind my back. I struggled to get loose, but I couldn't budge. Then he grabbed my face and turned it to the side. I then felt a sharp pain in my neck. "Vampires.." I whispered. "Harry, stop! We need her! STOP" That same voice shouted. I got one of my hands loose just as Harry looked up at Louis? I hit his hands hard, just enough for him to slip and for me to run. I ran trying to hold my bleeding neck. What the heck was going on!? I ran into a small covering of bushes, and backed away from the entrance. Then I hit something behind me. A hand grabbed my mouth, I tried to scream but all that came out was a small squeal. "Shhhh, do you want them to find us?" A soft voice behind me said. "I'm Niall, I'm not like Harry and Louis. Now if I let you go, promise you won't scream?" I shook my head yes and he let go. "W-What are they?" I asked at a whisper. "Vampires." Niall stated. I gulped. Then shaped my head towards the opening. There they were, Harry and Louis. I just froze. "LEAVE HER ALONE!" Niall shouted as he stepped in front of me. Harry let out a loud laugh of amusement. "You idiot, she's ours now." Louis stated. I was so very confused. "What..?" Niall asked hesitantly. "See, I marked her already." Harry said pointing to my neck. "NO!!" Niall shouted in anger and lunged at them. Louis took one swipe of his hand a threw Niall in to a tree. I widened my eyes, Harry stepped closer to me and I could feel my heart beat in my throat. He grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder, like I was nothing. I kicked and screamed as loud as I could. I was so exhausted, then it all went black.
