Chapter 8

The car ride seemed to take forever as we drove past tree after tree. I was actually tired of trying to fight with the two guys who had told me that their names were Zayn and Liam. How was this possible though, I was a vampire now, how could I be tired? We finally arrived at a huge house, that I assumed to be Niall's. They pulled me inside and tossed me in a dark metal room. I guess it was metal due to the fact that vampires were supposed to be kept here. I collapsed on the floor in pure exhaustion. As I tried to drift off to sleep I managed to hear fighting and screams coming from up stairs, now I was defiantly awake. Than I heard a thud behind me. "Did you miss me?" A familiar voice whispered in my ear. I turned my body to face his and flung my arms around him. "LOUIS! Of course I did!" He just laughed and said "Come on love, we have to go. Harry is outside waiting on us." I fallowed him upstairs where I found no one. "Louis, where is everyone?" "They went out, that's why we came to get you" After we met up with Harry outside we ran back to the house where they had first taken me. By the time we reached the front door I fell to the ground. "Caitiff are you alright!?" Harry asked as he and Louis tried to pick me up. "I'm so tired" I managed to mumble out as my eye lids grew heavier by the second. I glanced up at them as they just exchanged worried looks with each other. "What is it?" I asked curiously. "Nothing" Harry muttered to me. "Harry! She deserves to know!" Louis shouted while attempting to help out my rambling curiosity. "Fine, but let's get her inside first." Harry reassured. Once they had gotten me inside, and I had changed in to something more comfortable we all sat down on the bed. Louis grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him, as if he was afraid I was going to be taken away again. He kissed the top of my head as Harry began to tell the story... "Well, every vampire has a venom in their fangs that carries the DNA to change a human to a vampire. Every vampire is different, and when they bite a human to change them, the human may take traits from that vampire. Such as mind reading, extra speed, extra strength and so on. But, when a human is bitten by more than one vampire, the venom mixes, and the DNA traits mess up. Therefore that human then becomes a hybrid, half human half vampire. They have all the traits from a vampire, but a few human traits as well. Like, feeling tired and sleeping, being able to eat human food, and being able to grow, if it's a child under 17. So that's why you feel sleepy, Caitiff, you are a hybrid. From the bite I first gave you, to the second bite Louis gave you when he changed you." The last thing I remembered after that was hearing Harry shut the door quietly, and I finally drifted off to sleep as I felt Louis' hand wrap around my waist.
