The last thing I remember is falling down. Not the fall itself, just falling. Then I went black. My family. My family watches me taking my first steps. Their encouraging me to reach them, yet every step I take, they step farther away. A voice in my head tells me I can't do it. That I'll never get to them. I fall. Instead of my parents rushing to my side to comfort their crying daughter, they laugh at the baby sobbing for them. I sit there crying out for help. Every time I try to get up to desperately run to my family, the farther go, and the harder I fall. I can't escape this force holding me back. Then I see a hand out of the corner of my eye. and the words "Take it." Not from the dream, but from real life. I open my eyes and see I'm on the ground. All around me, people's eyes stare at me like I'm a ghost. Teachers are shooing them and holding my head lightly. I look around. "Thank God! Kelsey are you feeling alright?" My principal puts her hand on my forehead. "What happened?" I ask, looking around again. "Kelsey, you... " I look at my principal. She looks scared like all the other kids whispering around me. "I what?" "You had a seizure."
