New Friends?

Julia's POV

"Good!" He says cheerfully. "Heh...I met your sister! She's my first friend here!" I say while smiling. "I thought I was?!" He laughs. "Well...as I girl...I don't have a lot of friends really..." I say awkwardly. "Well...I have lots of friends- not gonna brag!" He says while waving his hands. "Yeah...thanks! I have no friends and you have lots of friends! You just needed to point that out!" I laugh. "No, no! I didn't mean it like that! I mean I can introduce you to my mates! Don't worry we have girls in our group!" We both laugh. " well...I guess I could give it a go... But if anyone slaggs me or bullies me...I'll break their teeth in!" He laughs. "They won't!" He says while smiling. "I hope..." He mumbles under his breath. "Wha?" I say raising an eyebrow. "O-oh n-nothing!" He stutters. "Ok...?" I say slowly. "Anyway...I'll text them now!" He says while he gets his phone out. I hear noise from the letters from the keyboard. He look at me and smirks. "What?" I ask. "Oh nothing..." He says as he goes back to texting. As I'm waiting I realise it's getting a bit dark out. I know it's October and stuff but...I honestly like Winter better than Summer! I never really liked Summer that...I just rather cold winter days, when you grab a blanket and sit outside...I always do that when I'm stressed...which is everyday really. I I've feeling the cold winter air running through my body. Is that creepy? Well that's me! Well I look at Joe and he's still texting. Will he hurry up?! "Hurry up will ye!" I nudge him. He looks at me and smiles. "Just one more person left and we'll meet the them at the pond?" He says while looking at the texts. "Are you sure this is a good idea...?" I say as I raise an eyebrow looking at him. "Positive! And I'll just kick there a.rse is they be a.rseholes to you!" We both laugh. "Ookk...!" I say while getting up. "Ok let's says while he puts his phone in his pocket and starts to walk. I sigh. "What's wrong...?" He asks. "I just don't think I'll fit in the 'Popular kids'" I say not looking at him. "We're not popular kids! We're teenagers!" I laugh. "You know what I mean!" He smiles. "I know. They might not get used to you yet but...do you want more friends?" He tilts hid head slightly. "I guess..." I say shyly. "I'll take that as a YES!" He yells as he starts walking backwards. I start to laugh a bit. A second later he trips and falling into the leaves. I can hear a few people laughing at us but we don't care! At this point I'm cracking up! I help him up as we run down the path laughing our a.sses off! "There they are!" He says as he points to one of his friends. "Ello! What's up mate?" His friend says. "Nothing much!" His friend was about to say something else but he saw me. "Oh! This is Julia!" He smiles at me. "Hi..." I say while fiddling with my fingers. "Hi. Joe can we talk for a moment?" He says while he walks forwards. "Umm...ok?" He says while walking up to him. They walk up to the old Oak tree. I can see Joe waving his hand, his friend looks at me and says something to Joe. Joe walks away. He looks angry. "What's wrong?" I say while walking with him. "Nothing..." He says running his hand through his hair. "Ok..." I look at him. He looks really p.issed off. His eyebrows are crossed, his face is red.
