As the two soldiers walked there first steps into Dallas they see bodies littered all over the city streets. Some bodies hanged from the windows and some of the bodies in the street were riddled with bullet holes. The blood, pungent stench of death, and mass collection of flies and maggots truly made the once beautiful and vibrant city completely barren and devastatingly horrid. The soldiers walked there walk through the seemingly empty streets. There wasn't a living anything for what seems like miles. Bullet casings, bullet filled bodies, and flies seemed to be the only things that showed that life once existed here.

Step after step the two soldiers marched on holding their noses in disgust as he strong scent proved unyielding. The city was quiet....too quiet for either soldiers liking and they both knew it. There was something here. Something terrible that they would soon have to face. They made it about half way through the city towards the Medical Center when they heard a noise that struck fear to their core. Gunshots. Gunshots aimed directly at them. A large armored vehicle with a mounted gun drove quickly towards them. The vehicle had three people inside. One man driving the vehicle with a wicked grin on his face, another man with a Mohawk jumping crazily in the passenger seat and laughing like a madman with an uzi in his right hand, and the third man couldn't be seen except for his knees and feet as he was occupying the gun that was attached to the car. The gun was large and bulky, there is armor plating surrounding the man operating it so he couldn't be shot from behind, the only way you knew someone was operating it was because of the pair of hazel eyes behind a slit in the gun.

Siegfried and Francesco simultaneously let out a multitude of curses as they went into a full on sprint towards a nearby abandoned bakery. They dove in through the glass window and dove behind a counter to avoid getting shot and used it for cover. The armored car drove in front of the bakery and the mounted gun on the top was aimed directly at the counter waiting patiently for them to raise up so it could gun them down. "Shit." Siegfried said as he huffed and puffed. The journey was long and they had yet to rest on top of now having to worry about this bullshit made them wonder if this was the end for them. There is only two ways out of this situation. The front entrance where they would certainly be gunned down before they got far and the back exit. If they acted quickly they may be able to get out and to the alleyway behind them. "We've got to try and make it out the back. I'll lead and you follow behind shooting to provide cover and confusion long enough for me to bust the door down and get out." Siegfried stated as he sat up a bit and looked to the door. "You ready?" He asked and Francesco nodded to tell him he's good whenever. "On three....one...two....THREE!" Siegfried yelled the last word as he charged the door and with one mighty slam with his elbow was able to knock the door off its hinges and down in front of them with a loud slam as it hit the ground hard. He sprinted into the alleyway and down the way a bit. As he broke the door down Francesco fired pot shots with his Ak-47 as he followed behind his leader. They rushed and ran through alleyways in random directions successfully losing the armored vehicle. The two men had moved into an abandoned hotel during their retreat. They sat with their backs to the wall adjacent to the back door and tried to catch the breath that was running a marathon away from them. "Rest up. We move at night. We stay low so the death machine doesn't spot us and when it finally becomes dark out we move." Siegfried said, his voice cold and angry. Francesco didn't dare question his leader's orders and simply nodded as they sat in silence until nightfall.

As the hours crept by he only noise that broke the silence was the armored car making its rounds keeping a watchful eye for the two friends it made earlier. After what seemed like an eternity of silently waiting it was finally night. If it weren't for the extremely dim and unreliable light the moon gave off and the bright lights the Medical Center they would be surrounded by an eerie pitch black darkness. The two soldiers let out a small sigh as they slowly stood, got their bearings before heading out into the gloomy city once again. As they neared the front door they were met with a familiar sight. Their good friend the armored vehicle was driving by for what was most likely its last round, but this time was different. There was rope attached to the back of it and attached to the vehicle is a few live zombies. Two zombies were being dragged by rope and dragged through the street as the vehicle slowly moved through the street once more. The car is a major problem and needs to be felt with. The men knew this, and when they saw the zombies being dragged, decided to start following to see where it went. After about thirty minutes of following the armored vehicle stealthily through the city it came to a stop at AT&T Stadium. Siegfried and Francesco stopped and watched them from behind a small car that had been stripped of its parts. The three people in the armored vehicle got out one by one. The driver, then the passenger, then the guy in the mounted gun.
