Tyler's P.O.V-

I woke up in a bed, different than mine. It felt different. Smelled different, looked different. I sat up to see a different room. I got out of the bed, and I walked to the bathroom but was caught by the smell of bacon and eggs. I found my way to the kitchen when I saw a boy with blue hair by the stove. He turned around and with a soft, gentle voice he said

"Morning. How are you feeling after last night?"

"I- um- how did I get here? Who are you?"

"Oh I forgot.. Im Josh, Josh Dun. I brought you here because you were falling off of a cliff and I catched you. You passed out though so I brought you here to get some rest." He said

"Oh.... Thank you. I'm Tyler, Tyler Joseph. Thank you.. For saving me."

"No problem. May I ask, why were you at the edge?" he asked

"I- I couldn't take it anymore. I was going to jump."

He stopped in his tacks with a face of shock.

"Why did you think that it would be the best way?"

"Because.... My family doesn't care. I have no friends."

"Well... I'm sorry. I will be your friend, Tyler."

"Th-thank you, Josh..."

He smiled so nicely. I made me grin a little. Something about him made me happy, made me think that I had something to rely on.

Josh's P.O.V-

'I wonder why he though he had no one. Poor kid, I wonder what he has been through. I am going to be his friend.'

I looked into his beautiful eyes and saw something. I looked away but I could tell that there was a smile on his face as I felt heat rush to my cheeks. His smile is so sweet and innocent.

"J-josh? Could I stay here a bit longer? I- I don't want to go back to my father. After being out all night after our fight, I know he will.." tears rushed to his eyes

"Shhhh. It's ok Tyler. You can stay here as long as you need." I said.

I walked over to him and hugged him until he stopped crying, and eventually he fell asleep. I carried into a guest room and when I was about to set him down, he told me he wanted to be in my room again.

Tyler's P.O.V-

'His body is so warm, so soft. He smells so nice, and his voice is calming. I asked him to take me to his room again because it comforts me. Why do I feel this way? What is with me? He will probably just leave like the rest of them.'

"J-Josh? Could you stay with me. Just for a little longer? I don't want to be alone."

"Sure. It will be ok, Tyler." he said with a calming voice. It filled my heart full of hope. Maybe, maybe I was supposed to meet him.

Josh's P.O.V-

It was about 9:30 pm and I crawled into bed, next to Tyler. It is the winter season, and I noticed that he was shivering. I hugged him and put a bunch of blankets over us. His body was so frail next to mine, and he was pale. I looked at his wrists, and noticed self-harm scars. I held him tightly and whispered in his ear

"I will never leave you Tyler. I promise you, I will keep you safe, and alive."

When I said that he turned towards me, and snuggled into my chest. A smile went across my face as I held him, warming him up.
