Winter's POV
After the show I went home. I decied that too much was going on tonight, so I drank the slightest bit of tequilia, which had no effects. I watched some Stranger Things and went to bed.
-_-=+=-_-
Good morning, world, I thought as I woke up. I decided that today I was going to talk to Lin. It wasnt that big of a deal, and I kind of felt bad. I decided to text him to make sure he was home.
(You at your place?)
(Yeah, may I ask why?)
(Nothing. I'll be there in 10.)
(Well okay!)
And with that I left. When I got to his apartment I knocked. Around 5 seconds later I heard a lock being unhatched.
"Hey," He said, anticipating what I would say.
"Hey Lin," I said as I walked in the door. "Look, I'm sorry. I over-reacted a little about the whole date-friend-kiss thingy."
"No you didn't." I was about to object, but he held his index finger up to my mouth and shushed me slowly. "I know you won't agree with that. And even if you think you did something wrong when you didn't, I accept your much appreciated apology." Lin smiled. He has such a way with words.
"Okay." was all I could manage to slip out.
"Well, do you wanna go to the theatre? Everybody is gonna have lunch over there." Lin asks. You could see the slight twinkle in his eyes. It was pretty cute.
"Sure." I said. And with that we made our way to the theatre. When we arrived only a few people had already hsowed up, so we decided to wait. We sat on the stage and talked with Thayne and Oak and Pippa, and then we got bored.
"I'm gonna go get some water. Wanna come with?" I asked Lin. He simply nodded and we made our way to my office's cooler. We walked slowly on the way there, giving us time to topple over and laugh about an iniside joke for at least 5 minutes. Everntually we made it. I grabbed a water from the back and I went to the door. But, before I reached the knob, I felt Lin grab my arm. He spun me around and pinned me up against the door. We stared into each others' eyes for a few seconds, and I was about to ask him what was going on.
"W-" But before I could get anything else out, Lin cotinued to pin me to the wall and started kissing me. I didn't oblige, instead I kissed him back. We toppled over to the couch and sat next to each other, kissing pretty furiously. But it wasn't a rushed furious. It was nice. I felt like he was ready to drive me back to his place, but before naything serious happened, I heard the door open. Oops.
Lin's POV
"I'm gonna go get some water. Wanna come with?" Winter asked me. I nodded and we laughed all the way there. the conversation we had back at my apartment was pretty enlightening. It felt good to know that she didn't feel hurt anymore. We made it to her office space and she grabbed a water. I continued watcing her as she quickly set her bag down. We were about to walk out of the door when i made a life changing, at least, I thought so, decision.
I grabbed Winter's arm and turned her to face me. I pinned her up against the door and looked at her for a few seconds. I tried to scan what she was thinking, but I'm pretty sure I could tell. I decided it was now or never. It's not like I could do anything now. Well, I could, but it would be super awkward and look dumb. You know what I mean, you'd just rather not do that.
"W-" She started. I cut her off by kissing her strongly. And, surprisingly, she didn't object. She kissed back. We made it over to the couch to get a little more comfortable when somebody barged in the room. We both quickly looked up and noticed who it was.
"Hey, Win-" They began. They were cut off as their jaw slacked open.
"Um..." Winter replied. I just continued looking back and forth between the two, not knowing what to say. Winter did the same.
"Sorry to interrupt whatever was going on here..." They said and walked away. Oops.
Anthony's POV
I had a crush on Winter. Ever since she started helping here, she's been so nice and also really talented. I wanted to get a closer connection with her. Of course I had felt something, but I could tell she wouldn't know me enough to feel the same. Today was my day to start getting closer with her. I went to her office door.
"Hey Win-"
This was the start of a new era-- I thought as I greeted her. But these thoughts stopped when I stopped using my vocals...
I couldn't believe what I saw.
Lin.
Winter.
Lips.
Together.
Kissing.
"Um..." Was all she managed to get out. I felt bad, this must've been awkward.
"Sorry to interrupt whatever was going on here..." I said. I just walked away as fast as possible. I tried to hide my emotions, but I couldn't tell if my acting saved me enough to make her- and Lin, believe I didn't care.
Winter, the one I wanted to be mine, belonged to somebody else. And I couldn't do anything to stop it.
