Peter had spent a majority of his time--since he asked Alaska to go out with him--planning the perfect first official date. He wouldn't talk to Alaska for a while, in fear that he might give something away. He only told her a few details about the date. One, was that she needed to dress fancy. Which, obviously, wasn't a problem for her, seeing as she was Tony Stark's daughter. The other things he told her were what day the date was, where to meet him, and at what time.
Even though Alaska had been preparing herself for the date, and had been thinking of the perfect outfit, she still called Zoe to help her the night of the date. And Zoe called Jared, thinking that they could use a guys opinion in this situation. They spent nearly two hours finding the perfect outfit. They spent those two hours dressing, and re-dressing Alaska, trying to find the perfect dress. They, all three, argued and fought about dresses for what seemed like a lifetime. Zoe always found something good about the dress and Alaska always found something to complain about. And then, there was Jared, who always had a snarky comment for each of the girls.
"Why does it even matter that much? You guys have already been on a date, why are you so worried?" Jared asked from Alaska's bed while Zoe and Allie were in front of the closet.
"Because, the first one didn't really count, we were just friends then." Alaska explained.
"Were you, though?" Zoe asked, cocking an eyebrow.
"Yes!" Alaska giggled. "Friends who flirted occasionally and secretly had crushes on each other."
"You never do any of those things with us, so, that answered her question: You weren't "just friends."" Jared said, shrugging his shoulder.
"I can flirt with you if you want," Alaska joked. "And call it what you want, but, at the time we really were just friends."
"Oh, honey." Zoe rolled her eyes. "Whenever the word "just" comes before "friends", you're never just friends."
After arguing and having random, pointless discussions about Alaska and Peter's relationship, they finally found the right dress. A dress all three of them agreed with. Which was a long, peach colored dress, sparsely decorated with dainty, silver flowers. After Alaska put the dress on, she put her contacts in, then Zoe did her hair and makeup. Then, soon--but evidently, not soon enough for Alaska--it was time for her to meet Peter. She took Zoe and Jared to their homes before meeting Peter where she was told to meet him.

She arrived at the place she was told to meet him. She looked around to find that they were in Peter's neighborhood. In front of the pizza place they went to when they first met. Alaska finally spotted Peter and walked up to him.
"You told me to dress fancy for this?" Alaska asked from behind Peter. He jumped at the sound of her voice, then he turned to face her.
"Wow." Peter stared in awe at the young Stark. "You look beautiful."
