" You l-lied?" J asked L who was standing in front of her looking at the ground and twiddling her fingers. L couldn't look J in the eyes.
"I didn't mean to but..." L trailed off not knowing what to say next to the girl she liked and adored. L was internally panicking.
"Then why?" she asked again with a softer voice as to calm L down. It still didn't work seeing as L sighed and finally glanced back up at her.
"It'd kill me to lose another loved one" L all but whispered to J and proceeded to turn away and ran.
J stood there and analyzed everything that had happened and sighed. She just witnessed an indirect confession. She stood there in shock not knowing the danger that would occur. after a minute she chased after L. She didn't want to be with her but still wanted to be friends. She found her crossing the street but stopped at the middle waiting for a car to hit her dead. a speeding car came and ran over L breaking all of her bones and crushing her brain.
What did J do?..
She let it happen....
She freed L of her suffering....
but did she do the right thing?
